I bought this on audible and have been listening to it, it’s honestly such an amazing work and the guy doing the voices is rsally good. Great fleshed out characters. comedy, while having a very serious plot. The Romance is refreshing ,and it’s just a fun read.
Im reading like 6 novels at the same time but some days they dont upload chapters so I need something to read in between. Also its diffucult to find a great novel like this one. Unfortunately, I dont know what happened to the author that he isnt uploading anymore ?
It's a light-hearted, slice-of-life novel that's quite short and perfect for a quick read. If you need a break from intense, emotional stories, this would be a good recommendation. What really caught my attention was the translation – finally, after encountering numerous "zerg" novels, the young zerg are referred to as "ZERGLINGS," which felt like a long-awaited terminology change. I've always thought it was a missed opportunity not to use "zerglings" for the baby zerg units. It's a small detail, but it brought a smile to my face, perhaps because whenever I played StarCraft and controlled the Zerg, I affectionately referred to my zergling units as my "lethal darlings."
It's not a romance novel, despite being tagged as such. The main character is only 7 years old and there's no clear indication of a significant male presence. The extras don't mention his name; instead, the focus shifts between the MC, her daughter, and adoptive family, with a sudden genre shift from a historical, farming tale with minor fantasy elements (like rebirth and magical spaces) to a high fantasy narrative involving ghosts and immortals. This abrupt change can be jarring.
The book has its merits, with well-developed challenges for the protagonist, a diverse cast of characters, and engaging karma moments. The villains have plausible motivations, making the story consistently enjoyable and satisfying. However, the lack of romance, even in supporting characters, is a letdown for those expecting a romantic plot.
I might continue reading to see how the story evolves after the genre shift, but the initial presentation could have been clearer, perhaps avoiding the assumption that a female protagonist automatically equates to a romance novel.

HAHAHAHAHA this is so cute. I love the mc and ml and I am so happy that they were able to overcome the challenges they faced. There are also scenes which are realistic and I can empathize with it, especially that it showed how our society is built by traditional beliefs, such that it tried to reject the concept of gay marriages.
But really, the ending though? Lmao
60 chapters in and I decided to write a review. First of all, great story!! Even though it is a common genre, I haven’t seen any copying from the other similar novels (for example, EM which is like the same story). So it has a unique storytelling.
I was going to vote 5 stars but I habe a few criticisms regarding the mc. First of all, mc is created as a smart character; however, we see a lot of dumb decisions and he always forgets to appraise people and enemies. Don’t forget that he came from a world where this was a game and he was the best gamer. In a game, you would definitely check everyone’s strength before fighting.
Also, he is not a pushover but he kind of is sometimes. An example is the engagement thingy with the princess. He should be more decisive.
I would have rated 4.5 but one great thing is this is not a harem novel and I am grateful to the author that he didn’t make me drop this story, so I rate 4.8.

Overall, this is a good read. I enjoy reading game novels. The Mc is pretty intuitive and innovative when it comes to magic. He is also pretty innocent to the world, showing his young age. It could be bad depending on the situation, but it's nice sometimes to see as long as it's not too much. Too much innocence is just stupidity. He has a few moments in the later chapters that are close to that, but things work out in the end. There has been some good story building going on that allows you to see some interesting potential future paths to take. I look forward to reading more
