TouchofDarkness
Idk if this has fake reviews because of the ammount of spam, but so far, this is the novel that I'm looking foreword to the most. Though the novel is cliche, the way that things are done are just too perfect. I heard if this gets into top 10 you'll release twice a day? I'll support the novel.
Nana <3
I love this author's work from the other site, I never expected she will upload a new novel to this site!
The story has been fantastic so far. There is character development, moral issues, family issues, and a plot that is much bigger than you may have initially thought.
I could know at least that much from her previous work, so you must check this one out!
I'm a fan of the whole negative reversal sort of systems but there is just something off about the way the chapter reads that it's just painful on the eyes to read this. I'm not entirely sure why that is but I had to stop reading because it was giving me a headache.
Highly recommend, highly recommend highly recommend
I need to improve my writing and the transitioning between characters and knowing when to stop and start sentences , over all I think the plot would be good because I have a plan but I need Improve on my writing style .
This story has SO much potential. Especially as a hârem with a great plot to support it, really a rare gem where härem is enjoyable for any female readers out there too. It’s worth the read since there’s no NTR, no r/, and everything is based on mutual feelings, trust, & respect rather than having a “collection”. None of the women in the härem feel like the “same type” or written horribly for the sake of satisfying the desire for smût (main reasons why I hate hârem stories). There’s variety in appearance, personalities, and in the way they support MC. They have opinions and try to resolve things as partners rather than “obeying” to whatever MC wants with no voice of their own. This feels more realistic when it comes to relationships.Long review: Writing Quality - The writing quality has definitely improved since Nanakawaichan began her writing journey with DLS then TIS. Since English isn’t her first language, there are still amateur mistakes here and there that makes the reading a bit awkward. Nothing that can’t be overlooked at times. I’m very impressed and very happy to see her put so much effort into her writing because I absolutely love her works. She has improved with the story pacing (in TIS, the pacing was a bit fast so the romantic development between MC and his härem didn’t feel 100% genuine). Meanwhile in SSS, there’s ample time for the love interests to develop feelings for the MC. Good job on that! Story Development - This is her writing’s strongest point. Even if her writing style is lacking in some areas, her story development more than makes up for it in my honest opinion. The suspense, mystery, anticipation, excitement, everything lights a spark and Nana-chan uses it so perfectly that it’s terrifying. I keep coming back for more since it’s so original and leaves a long lasting impression. I went a long while without reading her works and I can still remember important things as if I read it yesterday. To my taste, I wish the pacing could be a bit better, but that’s just a minor thing. Nana-chan has me hooked! Keep it up ♥️Character Design - Character design is another strength of Nana-chan! Their personalities really come through with the dialogue which isn’t always easy to do. We get insight on their thoughts & feelings when we need the insight. The only complaint (again, just my preference) is that we don’t get background on the characters like we did in TIS and TDKHS. We do have snippets on Julia. But then there’s none on the characters surrounding the MC. I’m sure other people don’t care, especially if it doesn’t serve any purpose to the plot itself. But I like connecting/to comprehend characters at a deeper level. The reason for being who/what they are. Other than that, everything is really good! None of the characters feel one dimensional/hallow/just there to be there.World Background - Let me say this, Nana-chan’s imagination & creativity when it comes to world building is AMAZING. It’s one of the main reasons why this story has TREMENDOUS potential with the proper guidance. There’s so much to explore and so much we have to know, it’s exciting to think what else will be introduced in the story. I hope Nana-chan gains more recognition and continues to share her great stories here. I’m here to read them all ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I was having a hard time discovering this novel because it's practically not on the yandere tag results, I'm glad I found it through scrolling for quite some time
a good book with a lot of potential .just change ur writing style a bit .
First off I don't like how the synopsis is not even close to the story. I shouldn't be so confused right off the bat because I'm trying to compare the story especially when put in specific details in the synopsis. Once I got that out the way I tried to actually enjoy the read. I feel it can be a funny read if the story wasn't all over the place changing to different character perspectives at the drop of a hat. The author doesn't do a good job of explaining well really anything either so I feel the story is like a giant puzzle I have to put together sometimes. I do like the idea of the story and I feel if it was explained better it would be more enjoyable because it's something original of which you don't see all that often. I'll keep reading tho hoping it improves.
Not gonna lie. I was really excited in the beginning. I thought MC is not going to be some kind of pushover but his own man. He couldn't care less about king and the royalty, and to be honest i liked it and I hoped it would stay that way. But boy was I wrong. The selfish "hero" turned out to be typical cliche virgin that shits his pants whenever girl touches him.But let's leave that aside. The first thing that surprised me was the absolute idiocy of the MC and side characters."Oh you have just found a legendary fox that is known in legends as a beast that burns everything to the ground with its hellish flames?LET'S TALK ABOUT PUBLICLY SO EVERYONE KNOWS.""Oh you have formed a party with some douchebags that you don't trust aparat from the Hunter and Samurai-sensei? Let's tell them that you own a legendary beast. Especially when two of the members are dodgy AF at that point.""Oh you want to go to another kingdom (that would gladly go to war with yours) to loot an ancient Tomb that belong to a noble family? Oh go ahead but change your face because you're too famous. Oh, oh and don't bother with changing your name because it's really hard to connect the dots between a rising star of a hero and a random overpowered 20lvl character of the same name, especially when you tell your enemies that your name is real. Also don't forget the overpowered item that makes you invisible but don't use it to escape from the tomb. Threaten the noble families instead so it can result in your girlfriend death. But hey you just got yourself another girlfriend!"Then the worst happend. The harem. My god is it crap. Everyone falls for MC after 15 minutes of knowing him. Then MC is FORCED to double marriage, and 2 other girls want to sleep with/marry him. He turnes into a complete virgin-pushover. I was reading through it hoping that those girls would die out at some point so the author can actually start writing a good story, but as of 200+ chapter it's only getting worse. The interactions between the MC and his wives/concubines are really dry and annoying. They are actally worse than fillers in Bleach anime. And the sad part is, those interactions are getting more and more common. Those 'lovely' wives have a almost non-existant personality.Actually decent characters like the Hunter and Samurai are barely talked about later on. The main focus is on the harem. Most human opponents MC meets are just typical, cliche, prideful young masters that get whooped in three sentences.By the way, don't get it twisted. I don't mean that the MC should be ruthless and merciless psycho. I just wish he had some interesting personality, backbone or something. Anything honestly.Because of that i decided to drop it at around chapter 230ish. My english might not be the best as it's not my first language so my apologies if reading this hurt your brain in anyway ♥.Sorry for the rant but this story just annoyed me.Waste of coins/free passes. Do not recommend.
The novel has just started and I am already strarting to love it and the writing doesn't have any major issues. Would recommend to people who monster/changing morals mc.
Unexpectedly good. (As of chapter 39)I’m not a lover of “sis-con” or incest stories. Luckily this doesn’t look like one... so far. And I’m enjoying it.The siblings (not related by blood) seem to have a normal, semi-adversarial relationship. Teasing, fighting and taking advantage of each other when they can. Normal.MC is an average person with an outstanding sister. But he’s not bitter about it. He seems like a bit of a wimp at first, but he does have hidden talents. Even without the System (which is pretty annoying)Keeping in my library for now
