While the novels are enjoyable, there's a glaring issue I can't overlook. It's the concept of identity, which seems to be too heavily influenced by societal roles. In reality, it might make sense, but within the context of fiction, it feels forced. Even as an explanation for plot points, it lacks depth. The protagonist's troubles with political factions could be intriguing, but they come across as more of a nuisance rather than a substantial challenge. Given his isolation and overpowered nature, it would have been more convincing if his identity were better grounded. Ultimately, this is just my personal opinion.
Nonetheless, the novels are still entertaining, and I am quite curious about what comes next after the devil arc.
Let's face it, the ending feels rushed and unsatisfying. Numerous storylines and supporting characters are left unresolved, with the main character (ML) lacking depth or relatability. The female lead (FL) could have been intriguing if she adhered to the world's rules, but instead, she becomes a one-dimensional Mary Sue. The concept of ML pretending to be mentally challenged was a promising idea, but its execution was clumsy and had minimal impact on the plot.
FL's behavior doesn't reflect a mature woman trapped in a teenager's body; it remains similar to her original self. It appears as if her intellect didn't change along with her physical appearance. Her actions throughout the story are hard to justify, especially since she seems to lack clear motivation for most of her decisions.
The relationship dynamics between ML's younger brother and his consort seem to hint at a potential love interest, but there's no solid development or resolution in this regard.
In summary, the ending is a disappointment, with too much condensed into a single chapter, feeling forced and contrived. Despite its good translation, the story as a whole is destined for the trash bin. Thank you to the translator for their efforts, though.

However, the pacing of the story prevents it from receiving a higher rating, as the MC's objectives keep getting derailed due to unforeseen events, such as the summoning incident which complicated his initial plan for revenge.
Despite these developments, the MC has yet to confess his feelings to his crush, creating a familiar slow-burning romantic tension reminiscent of拖沓的连续剧. Given the translation speed, readers may have to wait a long time for the story to reach completion.
