Correct. Maybe I understated what this novel does well, It has great worldbuilding, a great cast and the storytelling is fantastic. If anyone values those above all else than they are likely to enjoy this novel alot.

COMMENT: This novel is certainly better than the manhwa version, but it's not without flaws. In fact, it's full of them. It was dropped due to censorship just when the story was becoming interesting and less repetitive. Personally, despite having many complaints about this novel, this sudden interruption left me feeling empty.

the female lead is typical mary sue and the male lead is kinda pedophile, i mean the ml is 19 and the fl is 13. if they are adults with 6 year age gap then i guess that's ok but the fl is 13 so i think it's bad. Also the female lead does nothing i mean the male lead does everything and the male lead hurts people for not answering him. i guess it's natural because he is "cold-blooded" but i think he is just muscles without brains. the novel is draggy because the fl keep pretending to be good to the step mother and it keeps dragging the story which is unnecesary. the fl is also VERY OP she can sing dance and she is also beautiful as f*ck. the fl saves the ml and male lead fall in love , stalks her, follows her and pampers her and the female lead deos nothing at the story sooooo the summary is THE FL DOES NOTHING AND IS A MARY SUE AND THE ML DOES EVERYTHING. that's it
My poison taste test: I enjoyed this novel a lot until the early 300s, then the fighting scenes got really bad. I felt myself disconnecting while reading it. I got to 371 but will probably put this novel down for a while I just can't force myself to finish rn. It's not a bad novel by any means and I would recommend it, I just got burnt out and disconnected too much. I lost the emotional attachment to the characters.
Do they show any real romantic feeling to each other or like even actually kiss at all. Or does she just keep insisting on them not really being together?? I'm in the 300 chapters and want to know if I should keep going or not
