The cover doesn't reveal all the intriguing aspects of the story. To clarify, FL, a character who is part sparrow and beast, takes on the role of the ML's tutor, despite being an adult. The ML possesses a tragic backstory, being both blind and suffering from a curse that turns them into a beast form. What stands out is FL's compelling reason for getting involved with the ML, despite the grim circumstances.
The dynamics between FL, the ML, and their siblings are endearing, with a focus on the ML's journey adapting to blindness. The author skillfully explores topics such as braille, which adds a delightful touch and showcases commendable representation of disabilities. So far, the portrayal is excellent.
Additionally, the translator, Bee, is doing an outstanding job, ensuring that the story's charm is effectively conveyed in English.
Our protagonist finds herself trapped within a game, tasked with winning over seven targets (plus one) while navigating their intense feelings of possessiveness, which can lead to her character being "blackened." Having already experienced failure 999 times, she has emotionally distanced herself from the game, almost feeling detached or numb.
Throughout her journey, we primarily follow her "white lotus" persona, and her experiences have unexpectedly resonated with me on a deeper level.每当她伤心，我也会跟着哭泣。偶尔，她会嘲笑别人对她的误解，那时我的内心总会隐隐作痛。

The author consistently portrayed dark-skinned women as inferior and unattractive in comparison to the fair-skinned FL, especially in scenes where Er Ya, the FL's rival, encounters her. When Er Ya first meets the FL, the author emphasizes her jealousy and self-consciousness due to her darker complexion. There's also an instance where the ML introduces Er Ya to his mother, which highlights the issue:
