"Was someone calling for me?"
"I'm not the one you need to thank Young Master, it was Lilly, she is the one who thought of that idea." Bleiz smile while doing his scratching head posture.
The voice was faint but every word struck a chord in her heart, she felt a rush of fresh air fill her lungs and found the energy and strength to keep going. She felt around the cloth with her hands before she gave up and started scratching around until she made a hole. She stuck her finger in and started to pull on the material, making it wider with each attempt until finally she was able to fit both hands in.
I need to just quote a few lines because the dialogue in this chapter is absolutely lethal. "Have you ever eaten dirt, Young Master?" — This is the kind of line that stops you cold. It's not dramatic, it's not performative. It's just a factual question that carries the weight of eighteen years of starvation. And then she explains the kaolin clay in clinical detail, like she's giving a science lecture while describing her own childhood trauma. That contrast between clinical delivery and horrific content is what makes her voice so distinctive. "Are the folds in your brain just filled with sewage? You love trash so much, chasing after the stench wherever it goes." — Ye Wentao deserved every word of this. The rhythm is perfect, the imagery is vicious, and it comes from a place of someone who has nothing left to lose and therefore nothing to censor. And Zheng Xiujie's dialogue is equally revealing, just in the opposite direction. "My mother made a mistake, but aren't you at fault too?" This is gaslighting at its most casual and most dangerous. He says it like he's discussing the weather, not like he's trying to manipulate a woman who just survived an attempted murder. The fact that he follows it up with "we're family, and we still have to live under the same roof" makes me physically angry. The author's narrative voice is also doing incredible work here. The line about Ruan Zheng not turning dark "the moment she learned the truth was a testament to her kindness" — that's the narrator stepping in to comment, and it's so perfectly timed. It reframes everything we just heard. And the System's internal voice? [What are you planning to do next?] vs. [Better not say anything.] — the shift from eager assistant to cautious observer is hilarious and tells us everything we need to know about how dangerous Ruan Zheng is becoming.
Echidna : "The Endbringer of Echoes, Leviathan. The Endbringer of Screams, Simurgh. The Endbringer of Powers, Behemoth. The Endvringer of Venom, Medusa. The Endbringer of Fate, Kindred. All originate from beyond Lugunica. It's possible that they were brought to Lugunica by Contessa as well, or perhaps someone who worked with her, and brought them from another world. I only know about Eldia, Lugunica and… Well…"

this is a must read book I like that it's well written and I like the characters in itnice work author
As of chapter 240, there has only been a few chapters related to crafting. Most crafting related stuff is glanced over with minimal information on what's going on.To me the mechanic class is more about crafting but this story in my opinion is mostly just drama.
I really enjoy your work! I'd love to stay connected and keep up with your latest creations. Do you have any social media or email? It would be great to be in touch~
it's good ? you should read it though mc should show more emotions if possible its just my opinion it's ok either way ... hopefully (author) you will not make this story a harem novel with a brainless mc arrogant mc later in the story who only thinks with the lower half of his body ok thanks ..please don't lock the future chapters i can't afford to unlock them just for this once ? please ?❤️
I really love how exciting this is. The prologue really had me hooked and I'm so hyped to know what happens next. I don't think I've ever read a webnovel with a cyborg mc, its so unexpected. I'm glad this isn't clichéd like he reincarnated as a game character or something. The detailing of all the weapons and sensory alerts make this a really awesome read. I wonder if our mc is going to gain emotions later. I'm really curious to see where this goes. Keep posting chapters Author, I'll be staying tuned.
