I remember when this novel was the next up and coming big thing, then the author wrote it into a dead end and dropped it.
Kind of a shame to, as there was some genuinely interesting and unique aspects of this story, even if it was plagued with a plethora of shortcomings. Wish the author would take a second crack at it, but this time not write it into a narrative dead end and not add so much cringe. And for the love of god stop going off point and adding the endless amounts of pointless plots. That's my single largest complaint with this story, most of it feels completely pointless, and that's honestly what killed it.
Coming across this again has left me so discontented that it makes me want to try my hand at doing a story like this, because I guarantee I could easily do a better job. The premise is interesting, just that the author failed to capitalize on it, that's what bothers me the most, it could of been so, so much better.

The most rubbish story of ever. FL is so weak. ML is so stupid. All I see in this story is FL is so saint. I mean extremely stupid character that doesn't know what is to be hate to other who is extremely cruel to her. All in all I feel extremely stupid my self for reading this.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to find without just using mtl. And no, doesn't matter which you read first. Plus it's not like any of the characters that made it to the end of Memorize would even show up before the end, except one, but that information isn't necessary to know, just fun lore if you read both. Also, in one of the side stories at the end, both the MCs have a cooking competition.

The only great thing about this story is, it's first 4 chapters that have some family happy moments.
I dropped it after 40 chapters. Because the events were all like, The Library of heaven, the legend of Futian, Martial world, the strongest system, martial universe, top tier providence and some other famous cultivation novels.
If u read many Cultivation novels, this one will be a good sleeping drug, lol. But if u did not read many CN novels, give it a try. U may like it.

While there are occasional humorous moments, the overall tone is rather平淡.
What irks me is the repetitive use of "Rise, A-rise, A-rise!" for every spell, which comes across as an immature pattern, akin to an eighth-grader's behavior. It's perplexing how the main character persists in acting foolishly without learning from his errors. The author could have delved deeper into emotions and explored the MC's lack of human-like qualities.
Moreover, the relationships between characters are underdeveloped, and frequent time jumps occasionally make the narrative confusing. In summary, if you can tolerate a主角带有八年级心态的描述 and don't mind shallow character progression, you might find some amusement in the humor. But for those seeking substance, this might not be the right choice.
