Not grand gestures but small moments of actually SEEING someone. And then the bed scene at the end—oh my god. They're lying close together, she's cold, she moves toward him for warmth, and he's 'becoming increasingly restless' but still holding back because 'they had only been together for two days.' The restraint! The respect! The fact that he's a healthy young man and he's actively choosing to wait—this is the kind of male lead I can die for. The tension is delicious. I want more. I need more.
