Engahing plot, the ML Characters are extremely flawed while the FL is pure and innocent. On the contrary, she is mentally strong and resilient as she is navigating her path along with taking responsibility for her younger brother after misfortune hit them when their lives were turned upside down with the death of her father and loosing their family's fortune. The story is ever revolving with many twist and turns. But I can't just wrap my head when Alexi appears, makes me nervous how inhumane he is. I am rooting for Merri and Nikolai. Definitely deserves each other.
I have read every chapter of this novel in one day, the story is excellent and the characters are real. You feel for them and want to know more, I am not spoiling any of this book I will just tell you to read it you will be very happy you did.
A medieval fantasy isekai story? That's boring...But dual transmigrator from different background as protagonists? That's something new and unique!I'm curious about where this story will lead to
kind of a slow start but I like the concept and waiting for more
Amazing novel. Waiting for more chapters.
Very captivating story and very good writing. I recommend you read it.
good character design and fairly good plot
it's good, the system is a bit rusty other than that everything looks good...
Hello readers, this review is to clarify a few important things about Emperor Ashoka for our audience. For those unfamiliar, Ashoka was one of the most powerful rulers in the Indian subcontinent. His empire, which he expanded, was as large as the Roman Empire, covering most of South Asia. After the Kalinga War, he transformed into a ruler focused on peace and welfare. He spread Buddhism globally, sending emissaries as far as Greece and Southeast Asia, which had a lasting impact similar to the spread of Christianity.Beyond religion, Ashoka introduced early welfare systems, such as free hospitals and public rest houses. He was also one of the first rulers to promote animal rights, banning animal sacrifices and encouraging humane treatment. His famous edicts, carved in stone, promoted religious tolerance and ethical governance—principles still valued in modern societies.Ashoka’s focus on welfare, peace, and ethical rule places him among history’s greatest leaders, with a global influence that lasts to this day.The reason I am introducing this emperor is particularly to make you aware that the time period mentioned in this story is about the Kalinga War—the same battle from which Ashoka transformed himself into a follower of Buddhism. After seeing millions of dead bodies and feeling guilt, he adopted peace to atone for his sins. Our main character found himself on the same battleground from where the strongest magus of the entire Indian subcontinent, Ashoka, adopted peace and left his throne empty.A power struggle is soon going to start between the existing strongest individuals over the throne of the next Emperor. This story revolves around the main character's progress to become the greatest magus born from the death of Kalinga and rise as the emperor.
It started great but turned into absolute garbage, storywise. I do hope other works from the same author is better since they do have amazing potential.
This is my first time using webnovel, and I’m not sure how I found this novel with such a small scale author, but I was captivated by it almost immediately. I was never really fond of the fantasy genre but this novel really changed my perspective. In my opinion, the world building is kind of lacking compared to other novels I’ve read but all other aspects make up for it. Overall it’s a beautiful piece of literature that caters well to not only fantasy enjoyers, but readers who prefer other genres aswell. I believe wholeheartedly that this novel is one of the most enjoyable ones I’ve read in quite some time and I think a lot of people can agree with me once they’ve given it a chance. Definitely a good read, and I can’t wait to see more updates!
it is a very good story to read and I promise you that you won't regret it
