Good novel, at least it’s entertaining for me. However, the Storyseedlyng page is terrible. They don’t seem to notice issues with the chapters, and even when you leave a comment, it gets ignored.
For example, Chapter 146 is missing, and I left a comment four weeks ago, but it’s still not there. I tried joining their Discord, but it doesn’t even have active chats. In short, it’s a complete farce.
I’m a Spanish speaker and use a translator to read. For some reason, I haven’t been able to read on Storyseedlyng since Chapter 146 disappeared from their page. Since they don’t translate the chapters, I’ll leave this note for any other Spanish speakers who come across this. The novel is entertaining and worth it, but the page is useless, so you might as well give up on this novel and any other Storyseedlyng novels.
This tale is quite charming for those seeking a light-hearted read to pass the time. I appreciate the slow-burning development of the lead pair's affection, which adds a delightful sweetness. However, it may not appeal to everyone as some readers have pointed out that the protagonist's ghost-sensing ability could have been better utilized by the author, and there are minor issues that could make the reading experience somewhat monotonous.
As for the pacing issue, I believe the translators deserve a portion of the blame. The original web novel is rather concise; when I read the raw version, I found the chapter count satisfactory. Yet, the Chicipeph team likely chose to break chapters into parts for convenience, resulting in an unnecessary dragging effect that disrupts the flow of the narrative.
In terms of character development, the main protagonists could be more well-rounded and distinctive compared to other stories with similar premises. They're not inherently flawed, but they lack the standout qualities that make them truly memorable. Despite these shortcomings, the story remains an enjoyable read overall.
After recent developments, my spiritual intuition tells me there is going to be a need for a tragedy tag but we shall see
Edit: Was way too curious(spoiled myself) and now I'm wondering wtf is Cuttlefish actually cooking
I'm glad to have read LOTM while it was finished but now these waits are starting to killing me. This novel makes me want to indulge more but also brings pain from the cliffhangers, if I had a Pleasure potion, I would probably be digesting it right now.
Its Axed from the Author.
no problem better than a rushed ending...if the author releases the new book after a year
Yo in some chapters this sh*t was word for word ain’t making this up and yes most cultivation have similar plot but still not as similar as this that’s what is annoying
I didn’t want to even leave a comment at first cause surely the novels might be identical no big deal
But after reading king Of gods men i felt annoyed
And again plagiarism is plagiarism for a reason this is not taking ideas
I read many identical cultivation novels over the years and even though they were mostly similar not to this extent
"Main Heroines is an exceptional webnovel, distinguished by its intricate plot twists and masterfully crafted overarching mystery. The narrative begins with a captivating, multi-layered enigma that keeps readers hooked. Even after revisiting, one realizes that subtle clues are scattered throughout, challenging readers to piece together the puzzle. However, just when you think you've got it, new revelations throw you off course, making the guessing game all the more thrilling.
Though mystery might be the main attraction, the novel's appeal extends to its engaging premise, well-developed characters, and dramatic elements. The heroines are proactive, shaping the story's trajectory, and they exhibit intelligence and competence, providing enjoyable insights into their perspectives. The protagonist, a complex character torn between kindness and necessity, adds depth to the narrative. While his psychological journey could use more exploration, anticipation suggests it will play a crucial role later on.
The antagonist(s) are equally compelling, adding tension and excitement to the story. Though there are moments of melodrama that could be toned down and a lack of subtlety that detracts slightly, the writing shows improvement as the plot progresses.
One area that could use improvement is the handling of love interests, which often follow a predictable pattern revolving around the main character. It would be more satisfying if these characters had more independent storylines. Fortunately, the pacing is commendable, with each chapter offering new speculation and unexpected turns, preventing the story from dragging.
In summary, Main Heroines is a highly entertaining webnovel for those who enjoy a well-paced, multi-layered mystery, strong characters, unpredictable plot developments, and a touch of harem romance. It's a definite recommendation for those seeking a thought-provoking and engaging read."
