RagingMutant
impatiently waiting for the next book. keep them coming thank you for the entertainment of reading
Let's talk stakes because this chapter is a masterclass in raising them and then subverting them. Fu Erdie's plan is simple on paper: isolate the speed-type zombie, fight it, get the crystal core, become an ability user. The stakes are clear—she needs power to protect herself and the people she's gathered. But the author immediately undercuts that simplicity. The fight is brutal. She gets bitten. Twice. In the shoulder. The dagger gets stuck. The hammer is too unwieldy. She's outmatched the entire time and only wins because she adapts, because she stops trying to match speed with speed and starts using her body against the zombie's limitations. That's good conflict writing—the protagonist wins through intelligence and resilience, not just plot armor. But then the REAL conflict hits: she wins the fight and loses the prize. The core shatters. And now she's bleeding, infected, and powerless. The stakes have never been higher, and the story doesn't let up. She could turn into a zombie. She could die. She makes the choice to stay outside, to risk mutation, because going inside would mean giving up on the one path to power she has. That's a genuinely difficult choice and the story treats it with the weight it deserves. The resolution—where she doesn't gain powers but gains something else entirely—is satisfying precisely because it doesn't feel like a cheat. The story earned it.
Captivated from the first chapter!
Interesting synopsis and great writing! love it!
please update Author
He claims she’s naive and out-dated and he doesn’t like her but she’s getting jealous over her relationship with Hans? Boy bye lol
it was a good story but last update about the realm was really poor and boring. so much fun could have had in the realm. Big battles with beast finding other treasures etc etc instead find tower. then he flys to kill people no proper fight seen then finish.
