I really hate the fact that we have to wait for the story to catch up to the original I already read up past chap 100 I say the story to me is a lot better than demons diary becuse it devolpes faster
I started reading this from the start of novel and whenever author switched to different platform, I followed and at some point thought did I miss 9th Past Life somewhere. But re-reading it confirmed I didn't miss, only author kept that to last of the chapters

My main gripe with the story however is grammar, spelling, and phrasing. The first 20 chapters or so weren't terrible, you can definitely read passed them. Minor errors are expected on a platform that you are requires to release a chapter or two a day to be popular. The issue is the latest chapters. They read like a poorly translated novel. If they can be edited to at least the same standard of the previous chapters, I wouldn't have a problem. That being said, I do think this can reach the top ranks of Web Novel given time. The story draws you in quickly even with all it's tropes and deadpan humor. I do think to get their the writer will have to make sure to maintain the standard of the writing they've done so far as well as hopefully going back and fixing grammar issues overtime
I've read upto chapter 118 and I can say that its different from my normal reads, im dropping this novel because I feel that the way the story is developing doesn't feel enjoyable anymore, his distrust in other survivors although makes sense, just seems forced and doesent make to much sense, not only has he not been betrayed by anyone to scar him to the point that upon first meeting, he would instantly distrust someone to the degree he does, the writer also forces a side character he created as a sacrificial lamb to further the point no one can be trusted by making her go back to an enemy that wants her dead just so she can screw the main character that she interacted with for less than a minute and was saved by, just to push his point that survivors can't be trusted.the world building and other aspects of this novel are brilliant but I just feel the novel is going to be that all survivors are greedy and dangerous and that the only things he can trust are the current two and any more pets he might tame I future chapters.other than that the writing quality was great, although I'm not great at English myself (my first and only language) I didnt notice any flaws and it was an enjoyable read, but I cant promise an English major will say the same.

(Story Development)The story development is far worse than what anyone ever says it is. About 150 chapters in, the MC is invincible and not even China’s government does anything about him. He also extorts China for useful minerals, information, and abuses his power. He then heads to find the “hidden sects” but already realizes he’s pretty much the best of the best in his generation. He then fights it out with another cultivator and falls off a cliff where his side chick and him have a little love time.(Character Design)Horrible. Absolute trash. Ning Qingxue (mc’s side girl) turns into a mindless love slave trying to find MC and almost gets herself killed most of the time. She **coincidently** finds a shadow of MC and another person fighting (the cliff area) and sees him fall off. SHE GOES INTO THE FOREST THAT IS BLOCKADED BY THE MILITARY TO TRY TO FIND THIS SLIVER OF HOPE HER YOUNG HERO IS THERE.If it wasn’t for the fact I wanted MC to find his master (girl) and tell her his feelings I would have never read past Chapter 100. Actually, I was hoping that Ning Qingxue died in the forest so we wouldn’t have to go through this and could finally let MC be a free man.(World Background)The whole story doesn’t make sense. At first, MC says the chi/qi is too thin on Earth and it’d be a miracle if you were to get to Chi Gathering 1 stage, but we clearly read that there are more powerful people than MC and they are 30 yrs old. ????????. I really like this new story. It has the cultivation end of things which I like but it also has a mix of a mage feeling to it. It has a good mysterious plot happening which I really like and it has the face slapping without being as vicious as a lot of cultivation novels are at this point. Not that I don't like all the good fight scenes in my novels but it is a nice change from the status quo. I also really like the school idea in this book. It is different from the sects that you usually read about.
Author is a disgusting pedo who gets off to sleeping with 13 year olds. The soccer part is great but it's very much destroyed by the authors raging hard on for an adolescent child .
it's decent, all thing considered. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it's readable. His ability is basically bootleg version of Library of Heaven's Path.
world background and writing quality of this novel is top noch ..alas other than that all things gone tooo much down side after begining of 2nd volume (around 120 chapter or somthing) you who is thinking to read this novel be aware ..yess you will gonna like this novel very much because of mc's character and actions on 1st volume but after that from 2nd volume is allllll LOooosttttt ...at one point it seems author himself forgot how he made mc's character and it will pain to see mc's actions on 2nd volume ...so if you like to see how an alfa intelligent ruthless mc becomes idiot wimp beta side character in 2nd volume of the novel than you can happily start reading now otherwise don't bother with this ...i have droped this after reading 2nd volumes 100 chapters of somthing where mc's idiotic actions are hard to bearable and all focused are got on the Fmc ...author if you are reading this comments do work on mc's character if you don't wanna losse more readers otherwise ?
I started reading this book from the very beginning. I think I’ve been #1 for a long time in fan value. JKS, I love this book and also got to be a character for a little while (Rafer Lyle). Thank you for that! It’s been a great ride. Keep doing your thing because I’m now I’m hooked on MWS and Dark Magus Returns! Great author here guys. You will not be disappointed reading this book!
