As expected from the Duke, the beginning of this novel is full of secrets and little allusions. It's fun to read and I'm excited to see what happens next. Please keep it up
Love the story so far I really hope you continue writing looking forward to many many more chapters
Even as someone who often prefers non-fiction over fiction, I was immediately captivated by the world building and narrative that the author established from the very first chapter. I really enjoy the use of language to build out incredibly descriptive and interesting images as well as the more casual, realistic yet still great dialogue between character. My only complaint thus far is that I feel like some sections could have been developed a bit better, but I understand that this may be more due to the novel's shorter format as a web novel. Nonetheless, the story is not hindered by this aspect as it only leaves me wanting for more world and character development in later chapter.
why has the update stability droped from 3 ch/ day to just one now?
This story is quite interesting. But I think it's moving too fast without any explanation and it's confusing.?
This story offers a compelling blend of family legacy, magic, and mystery, set in the kingdom of Emerald. The nameless protagonist's journey from exile to self-discovery, battling the weight of his family's dark secrets, is captivating. The tension between power and weakness, alongside vivid imagery of a cursed lineage, makes the narrative both engaging and thought-provoking. The unfolding of the protagonist's visions and his quest for acceptance keeps the reader invested in his struggle for survival. A well-crafted tale that promises intrigue and emotional depth.
Hey author here. Am just starting my first book and I bet you it will be fun to read and eye catching. It would be nice if you tell me your thoughts about my book
Nice start n different from the cliche one's. Don't drop it pls
Extending further the background from the introduction blurb, the story is definitely of a side character /mob character trope. The protagonist, Wei Zhiruo is a complete newbie, when it comes to cultivation. She doesn't even know what cultivating to become immortal means. Along with looking out for complete culture shocks, she has to navigate with other people continuously infringing on her life. She never intends to be part of the story, but how can that be? She definitely has all the power, intellect to see what is going on, and enough compassion to not just go past the atrocity (coming plot point) blindly. I am defending her, but the position she has inherited is definitely something that will never allow her to remain a silent bystander.
I picked this book up, not even realizing that it is being written by one of my favorite authors on this app. Looking forward to the continuation of the story. can't wait to see what happens next. I have enjoyed the first nine chapters so far.
it has a promising start I'm actually interested in where this is going
