A good story overall. The powers and system are pretty well laid out even if much of the populace seems to not know most of the secrets of the abyss. I wish some background was added a bit to how the world got this way, but maybe some history will be included later.The Main character and supporting characters really only 4 or so that are regularly in the story are pretty well done and its fun learning about their backgrounds. The MC does have her issues and does show lots of growth as the story goes. I do have to dock her a bit because she really is terrible at following advice, even her own.For instance: Mentor Say's don't do thisThe Next Chapter: She does that and almost dies (yet gets stronger)Later she has a unique power which if exposed could mean everybody wants to capture or kill her. Before she attends an academy, she plans ot only to use her less unique abilities and sword kills as to not expose her unique ability while at the Academy.What actually happens? The first test and spar she has there, she uses it and exposes herself as a target for a crazy researcher that I know is going to have implications...Overall though I really do recommend reading both this story and Nanomancer Reborn. The Author does a good job of making purposefully flawed characters to downplay their Over Poweredness. The Author does seem fond of Masochists and Sadists though. I do Worry about our Dear Author. :)

This has been a truly unique experience so far. I really hope that there's a focus on the mother but it seems it can go either way. Pretty touching story so far. The quality isn't bad as well. A few minor fixes needed grammatically but they're so minor that it doesn't matter much. People might be bothered by what seems to be a once a week chapter release BUT if the author releases gold, I can definitely wait.

Okay, I need to talk about this reveal because it genuinely made me sit up straight. Hua Heng is a mission taker from another world, right? She's not even from this universe—she's here to game the system, earn favorability points, and cash out in crypto or whatever. And the pregnancy? Fabricated by her own demon system. Xiao Mingyue literally bled herself out over a lie. That is some next-level villainy. The fact that Feng Buji fell for it so completely, then ordered a hundred lashes that actually killed her, is the kind of plot twist that makes you want to throw the book across the room. But here's what I found brilliant: the system didn't just resurrect Xiao Mingyue as a deus ex machina. It gave her a choice—target the original male lead or go for the emperor, Xie Changsu, who's described as scheming and deep, a five-star difficulty rating. That's not a happy ending setup; that's a survival horror setup. And then Pei Yanli shows up at the mass grave, crying over her dead body, and carries her back to his manor like some kind of dark fairy tale rescue. The plot is moving fast, sure, but every turn feels earned. The military tally subplot—Hua Heng wants it to boost Feng Buji's favorability, Xiao Mingyue's father has it, the whole Xiao family is in prison because of it—this is a web of connections that the author is weaving together. I'm curious whether the military tally will become the key to everything, or whether it's just a red herring. Either way, the story has locked me in.
Reading the latest chapters I feel like this story isn't for me especially mc when being so highly intelligent just keeps on creating disaster for himself which will blow up later for convenience of the plot and he can't even manipulate anyone as successfully and he is not even what he deems himself to be -

This is really good .The author is evolving with each chapter ...I'm glad his relationship with his 'mother' and servant is going well ... that said, I beg you not to drop this romance ... I'm in love with her!
