He gets it after the first season, it's been a while since I read it but I think it's within 80-100 chapters
There's hardly any slaves and there's no romance of any sort. I have no Idea who put those tags. And def not a slave harém
I have absolutely nothing but garbage experience with Japanese novels, for the most part. Anyone reading this know if it's any different?
Examples: A harem magically forms around the main character, he's absolutely dogshit useless but for some reason is worshipped, powers seeming pop out of thin air for the main character.

The primary issue with this novel lies in its sluggish pacing. The story tends to drag due to an excessive amount of unnecessary dialogue exchanged between the protagonist and his dog. It feels like a significant portion of the book could be condensed if we removed much of the trivial banter. Despite this, the overall narrative and battle sequences are commendable, with the MC showcasing impressive skills and unique magic. To fully appreciate it, it might be best to accumulate several chapters and read them in one sitting.
IMO there are long stretches of not much happening, and the wording can be a bit clunky at times (the translation's a lot better than the other comments would have you think). Even still, it's one of my favorites. That said, there's like 160ish chapters out (and they were on the site before the reset, travis translations are where you can find it if this place never adds them back), but I think the translators dropped it once they caught up to the source material.
EDIT: ok apparently all the chapters before 64 are just missing all the content for some reason, I might hold off until they're all added back.
yea i hate authors like this. i write them down on a blacklist to never read their work again. so far its only 4 authors but still, hate wasting my time reading hundreds of chapters diving into a world where the author just shts all over it by not finishing their work
