I've been a dedicated reader of this web novel since its inception, spending years devouring the translated chapters. As we approach the end and the translation nears completion, I must express my admiration for how many times I've revisited this story - now on my twelfth round, across the manga and anime adaptations. I wholeheartedly suggest giving the original light novel (LN) a try, even though it's shorter.
When it comes to isekai stories, I'm quite selective, but this one consistently delivers the satisfaction I crave. I find myself returning to it every few months, particularly because of the adorable characters Pochi and Tama. While the story occasionally skips details, the author expands on them more in the light novel format.
What sets this apart is the deep character development and intricate world-building. You can tell the author is passionate about literature, which adds a layer of familiarity through various references. Although there are challenges, the story follows a common trope where the main character faces trials. The protagonist is indeed overpowered, but not to an unbearable degree.
I may revisit this series in a few years, depending on whether more light novels have been translated by then; currently, only volume 15 is available in English.

yeaah, chinese can be a very difficult language sometimes, and to properly convey the meaning in english is another arduous task . . .
that's why a lot of gems remain untranslated coz they are meant to be read in Chinese
