This is a cookie-cutter apocalypse story that's actually a cultivation novel in disguise. As usual, the world ends in zombies and China numbah 1 in zombies as well. Our MC, who had access to a mysterious alien tech, starts Doomsday prepping with limited resources.Unfortunately, once the end of the fuckin world actually comes, he promptly goes around offending all with his minibus and a harem that he collects with his MC aura. There's an inkling of a larger plot, about a secret Illuminati thing that knew the apocalypse was coming, but that's left undeveloped for a large part of the story. The minibus he owns is a super advanced futuristic mobile base and the MC is diligent in enhancing it's features only to never use them. He added a biological lab and never used it more than twice. He added an automated 3D printer for weapons and completely forgot about it the next chapter. And here's the best part of the bus. It uses a potato Cannon that fires compressed air. In this universe, apparently nothing's stronger than compressed air. The side characters never question the complete breakdown of physics. With the MC in the picture, spacetime inversion, advanced science, FTL travel, the second coming of Christ... Everything is possible. And his ability, which has nothing to do with the capabilities he exhibits are completely ignored and not questioned by a single character.The plot is a nightmarish mishmash of standard cliches. Around chapter 600, the author got bored of the junk in the novel and took the plot to Japan for the standard Chinese racism best racism. Leave your logic and rationality elsewhere to read this
I WAITED TOO LONG FOR THIS!!! I remember reading this before... WAITED WAITED and was going to give up... I hope the updates are going to be quick... If i am not wrong the translators stopped because of a certain site... hmm... hmm........

i dont need to read. i just know this novel gonna be fantastic! sora writing style, idea, and storyline is A+. i know i didnt read it yet, but based on all of sora novel i have read, its never dissapointing, u guys can read under the veil of night, flower in the battlefield, villain lady, and more, all of it are superb! and these 3 novel is my favourite! give a try to read sora novel and u guys gonna fall in deep!
To be honest, this novel is not bad, but it is not good either, it kinda average.. From Ch1 until Ch370, the MC grow is quite slow ( F-rank to D-rank).. Then, from Ch400 until Ch470, MC grow suddenly becomes soooo fast (C-rank to SSS-rank).. After that, MC grows become slow again.. MC is the only one have system, but everyone else can also grow their rank.. You might think SSS-rank is the highest, but it is not.. There Mortal grade (F-rank to D-rank), Special grade (C-rank to A-rank), Elite grade (S-rank to SSS-rank), Epic grade (SSS+-rank to SRR-rank), Planetary grade (RRR-rank to UR-rank), Legendary grade (EX-rank) and so on.. If you are someone like me who loves OP MC, you might be frustrated by the slowness of the MC grow.. Well, you need to wait until Ch.400 to see MC fast grow. I'm not sure if you are willing to read that far.. Well, even when MC is in lower rank/grade, he has higher skill rank (ex: when MC is E-rank, most his skill are C-rank or when MC is D-rank, his skill are B-rank).. But now, when MC rank got higher, his skill barely increase in rank (ex: when MC is S-rank, most his skill is STILL IN B-rank or when MC is in Planetary rank, most his skill is just A-rank).. MC skills barely grow as he gets stronger..
This story is a true gem and clearly beats many of the stories in the upper rankings. The beginning chapters had some glaring issues such as cringe due to the nature of the MC and some of the dialogue (very chuuni); this issue becomes moot in very little time. This can be attributed to the excellent character and world developing skills of (PancakesWitch); as the story progresses and the MC gains confidence, the dialogue between her and other characters steadily increase in it's quality. Another glowing point of this story is that the MC feels real, she is no hero and doesn't randomly help others for no particular reason. In saying that, the MC is really naive in the beginning and as the story progresses, her attention to details increase and more thought is put into actions.If anything, Kireina fits the role of anti-hero best, She is no goody two-shoes and certainly no villain either; whats interesting here though,is that as Kireina grows her family and gains things and people she desires to protect, the more she is willing to do to protect them and become stronger. An excellent example of this is her willingness to eat people, in the beginning she is apprehensive to do such a thing but eventually casts aside that apprehension in favour of the benefits.Another really strong point of this novel is it's world and how it expands. The world in this novel is really unique with quirky ideas such as the snowy mountain walls and the astral road. In nearly every chapter the reader is introduced to new and fantastical races with many unique creatures that aren't an archetype of an existing earth creature.The world building is really stellar in this novel and really utilizes the 'show don't tell' rule by having much of the exposition being given in side chapters by minor characters which give us this information by comparing common sense to the situation in cases where Kireina often breaks it. This effectively provides lore and also indicates not only how Kireina views this world but also how the world sees Kireina.Overall, this is an excellent novel and many of the wrinkles are only present in the first few chapters and these are ironed out. The release schedule is excellent with a new (and long (*v*)) chapter everyday with the occasional rapid releases. Solid characters which don't feel overshadowed by the MC and an excellent ever growing world. 5/5
