This novel is really nice and intriguing tbh.
The initial concept of the novel, "pushing the boundaries of storytelling to its limits," intrigued me, but the title "Depressing Illusion" aptly captures my experience. As I delved deeper, the narrative became increasingly monotonous and unengaging. The first third focused excessively on themes like consumption, food, and sustenance, providing little substance beyond surface-level descriptions. The remaining sections were divided between excessive mentions of nosebleeds, the主角's ill health, and a sluggish plot that moved at a snail's pace.
In the end, I decided it was time to let go. Curiosity led me to finish it, hoping for some resolution, but alas, there was no satisfying conclusion. I wouldn't recommend this book to others.

Try, Only I Am a Necromancer. I think it’s complete here but I got completely suckered into the webnovel and came here for some more. Although the from the couple of chapters I read the writing wasn’t my favorite. It’s doable, but imma save it until I finish/catch up to some other stuff
Ironically, they created a television series (Chum chun gei) based on this novel, but as it was adapted the idea from the beginning was "not to change anything in the story", so it was probably less disappointing than the novel.

Faltan bastantes capitulos y voy por el cap 200. De repente, esta en medio de una pelea o una conversacion y en el siguiente, ya ha terminado y te quedas sin saber que ha pasado. Aunque ya haya finalizado espero que puedan recuperar los capitulos perdidos o faltantes.
