I took a look at WN to see if the Author left any updates. About 25 days ago the Author stated they couldn’t continue due to health reasons but would try their best to come back. Not sure when that will be though.

**No spoilers** Important part first, if you can get passed the rough outline of the ending it really is a good book and is still worth a read. Love the story and the concept, could tell he really had a good idea of where he wanted to go with it and enjoyed writing it. My only gripe is the ending, you can tell that he ran out of juice and it didnt seem like he was enjoying the process anymore. I really hope he comes back and rewites the ending at some point. The beauty of a web novel is it can awlays be changed and updated. The ending clearly shows how he wanted it to end it, and it has a solid structure. But it does feel like it was rushed a bit. That being said it really just needs a polish. I plan on rereading it again, and I really do hope that someday he revisits this book to give it the ending it deserves.

Not to be rude but like i see some people like this that basically say the world building is trash etc or its alot of junkfood they say this on ALLLLLLL Novels so im kinda confused which are good and which are bad because everyone in the comment sections never says nice things about any novel.

That first paragraph was a summary of the vast majority of the book without any spoilers. Er Gen once again makes a fantastic novel, one that is filled with intrigue and ever growing mystery as we, discover the truths hidden behind the veil of endless veil of lies that we witness slowly unravel during Su Ming’s desperate struggle against his fate. This book has probably the best world building I’ve ever seen. The already masterful world building slowly comes undone to reveal even more masterful world building filled with endless mystery and emotion. If you start this book and doubt that it’s worth continuing DO NOT drop it, the further you make it the more it will entrance you.
