Omg!! This novel was so refreshing ! It’s really funny and flips the script in a typical web novel. The characters are the opposite of the archetype you would expect and it’s so far very comedic and refreshing, I was even crying by the end from laughing... yea totally from laughing not allergies.. or my eyes being dry from to long in front of the screen and feeling like hard boiled eggs.. totally not!!! But yeah even some of the cultivation methods or ways to earn things from the system I was surprised by, it was really funny and light hearted but sometimes these novels are really good at the beginning but taper off, hopefully that’s not the case here! Yeah overall the novel flips the typical tropes in Wuxia web-novels of one dimensional villains and it’s very funny and his system is hilariously black hearted in its missions. ???———SPOILER ALERT———???in the words of the main character: “It melted the instant he put it in his mouth and tasted fairly similar to peppermint drops, having a sweet and refreshing flavor.‘Mmm, it tastes good,’ An Lin nodded in admiration.Xu Xiaolan forcefully held in her laughter. ‘How do you feel right now?’ she asked expectantly.‘I don't really feel anything. A very good read so far(im around c 80). A good idea for the story, don t remember any translation or typing errors, there are not any females so far wich is good, the biggest plus is that main character is not made stupid and forcfully unaware of his impact. Strongly recommend.
I started reading because the title appeared unique at first, but along the way it started to get funny when I looked at the character's reactions throughout the story. I admit that there were many boring or annoying moments, but it is worth reading further.
This shiuld definitely become a full novel from just how good the grammer to word play they use and alot better compared to some novels on the trial read stage
This novel is amazing, I usually read content with lots of fights, but in 40 chapters I fell in love with this, it's a slice of life that has cultivation around it, but the greater focus is in the relationship the protagonist has with other characters, their personalities are all well built, the story makes sense and is captivating. There are tids and bits of comedy but also lots of sweet moments throughout it, I guess there will be fights once the protagonist reaches a certain level of power, but for now, only trivial things bothered him, to a level where anyone could experience the same thing. Give this story a go, fights and near death situations are not the only quality content out there.
One star for inconsistency. At chapter 3, that Tang princess made a tournament and he had to enter within 10 days to complete one of the first quests in his system.Now, what does the MC do? ofc, he goes into the forest to "cultivate" and randomly spends 10 days there. After which he joins a ect and starts the sect arc!!!!!WTF HAPPENED WITH THE FIRST PLOT LINE?????
Cheer up buddy, you're book is good. Just need more exposure and feature. Don't mind the rankings so much. History is a hard genre to write, but for you to write it like how you do is already good enough. -condiments
Once you start reading you will be instantly hooked as I was. The characters are provided with great description as well as the setting, so it helps with visualizing. Not really good at reviews so hope you trust and give it a try.
