I need to talk about Chun Xing because this maid has some of the best lines in the entire text. 'Like a ghost that won't leave'—muttered under her breath when Nan Lexi appears. 'Don't trip and fall flat on your face—though if you roll yourself into a ball, you might get away faster and safer!' And then the tea-throwing scene? Absolute perfection. She doesn't just throw the tea, she explains WHY while doing it. 'You people really don't know shame! Every bite you eat, every stitch you wear comes from my lady.' But what I love most is how Chun Xing's voice is completely distinct from Su Ran's. Su Ran speaks in measured, cold precision—every word calculated. Chun Xing is fire and motion, impulsive and sharp. When Chun Xing rolls up her sleeves and says 'You fawn on the powerful and betray the weak—heartless cur!' you can feel the heat in those words. And Su Ran's response to Nan Lexi—'A beast's love is something I cannot afford'—that's Su Ran's voice, distilled to its purest form. These two characters complement each other perfectly. Su Ran is the strategy, Chun Xing is the execution.
Let me tell you about Fang Xun'gui because this character absolutely wrecked me. He is this cold, scarred, deeply broken person who has spent nine years hunting for the truth about his brother's death, and then Yuyi Yue just... appears. And she doesn't try to fix him. She doesn't tell him to move on or that everything happens for a reason. She just holds his bloody hand and says 'you're not alone now.' That moment. Oh my god. The way Fang Xun'gui literally trembles because he has been so starved for human connection that even this small act of physical warmth shatters him. He spent his whole life believing he was worthless, that his life had no value because he was just a killer. But Yuyi Yue sees through all of that. She tells him 'you're the first person I've liked since leaving Misty River' and 'you really do need to take responsibility for that.' She flips his entire worldview. He thinks he's dragging her into danger, but she's the one who pulls him out of his own head. And the best part? When he says 'you won't die' with that desperate, almost pleading look, it shows how much he's already changed. This guy who has accepted death as his only companion is suddenly terrified of losing someone. Their dynamic is everything. He's all sharp edges and self-loathing, and she's this calm, steady presence who refuses to let him disappear. I need to know what happens next because this relationship is the most beautiful thing I've read in forever.
Very good starting! Good world building, easy to understand and follow, I like the kind of magic they use. Good characters, hoping to see more of them and what the development would be! I am really enjoying reading it! I can't wait to read more of it!

Found my cup of tea, literally.... every side character in this novel love tea?. Welp this novel had been a great read, especially how fricken funny how the mc fumbles everything in his favor which is may or may not be good for his mental health ?. There's some minor issues but good thing the author listens properly and fixed his mistakes and improved on the ongoing chapter.
So far it's an interesting story and it's giving the mysterious and sexy vibes? can't wait for the updates☺️. Good job author?
Love the work keep it up. However I think you could have better and more in depth fight scenes. I also believe giving Arthur his own gift is a good idea ( only a recommendation ). Hope you keep updating tho top quality up to 201 chapters
