Though i haven't read much novels or webnovels with military as a genre, this is one of the best ones I have ever read (author is also nice to give pictures to certain military stuff)
*sigh*......such a great novel but it's constantly getting ruined by the endless amount of mysteries and some decisions made by characters are sometimes weird or just don't make sense just to setup plot points later *sigh*
Honestly, it isn’t really a good story. It’s a badly planned wish fulfillment novel where the MC has a heaven defying system for no good reason.
Why does he have it? No clue.
What does it do? Infinite money.
Is there a plot? Not really.
It’s just a rich dude running around earning money with the occasional female potential partner and enemy male foil showing up.
The comedy is not funny, unless you think that excusing all the problems of the world on not being handsome enough is funny. And even if it was funny the first time, it stops being funny about the fifth time when it becomes abundantly clear the author does not understand any other jokes.
This is like “Losing Money to be a Tycoon” but significantly worse.
Great start. Good story building at first. But as story progresses MC becomes more arrogant and idiotic. he starts doing idiotic things when he doesn't have power to protect himself.
During the first 40 chapters I was very frustrated reading this novel because it was almost the exact carbon copy of Desolate era. I like desolate era but I did not want to read something exact similar to it. But I managed to endure and believe me I was glad that I did not drop this novel because it was fricking great. I all recommend all of you to stick to it until the end.
Dear author you did a great job there but I think you should change your writing style a bit since you write a lot of chapters about some things which were not necessary like you spend 5 chapter just explaining the abilities of eye of myriad dao which could have been done in just about 2.5 chapters. So what I want to say is that you focus a lot on unnessary chapters. Anyway keep up the good work.
Though I am not a fan of such novel, This was a good read. I am especially proud of this translator who took up this novel without the extra pay and delivered this to us just because he likes it, And I am sure this novel will not be dropped like the tens of other, Whose petty translators start dropping them just because they weren’t making them enough money. This is a passion project, Neither the trial novel slot nor the voting pool slot was taken. Please check it before going hysterical. Again Great respect for the translator, I wish he would have been the one to translate some of my fav novels like World of Deities or Lord of oasis etc.
Now Regarding the novel, I disliked it at first because of knowing how all of the games will be copied, But the good thing about this one is, Later he also start developing his own games and also add extras to the copied ones. It’s a leisure face slapping novel.
5 star just because of the great Translator. You have my utmost respect.
Can we like have a normal talented beast tamer unlike this system based crap. We as readers are also beaming systematic will all this system novels creativity is out of the window
