Writing Melodramatic Stories in Ancient Times Made Me Famous - Reviews

I like the story, the plots not really unique but its entertaining to read. My one issue with this novel is, well, the romance aspect of it. I don't care if the MC is deranged or a lunatic, however it doesn't make any sense why its in the plot. Where exactly does MC even find time for a romance is the grand scheme of things?!?!?It's so unrealistic and contradictory to how you established character... how exactly does romance fit into a novel where the protag is motivated by ambition to overcome the laws of the world in the novel?He wants powers, he actively strives for it and disregards the life of others like insects to achieve what he wants.... and now your trying to make me believe he can suddenly love after all that he's done and willing to do?It's ridiculous. You don't establish the essence of your character as ruthless and power hungry, devoid of feeling and morality, only seeking power, to add in a romance in the middle of the novel....You might ask why you shouldn't do this? Easy! Because someone willing to do anything for power would NEVER LOVE ANYONE that would become a HUGE weakness. It contradicts your plot and established MC's sense of self/motivations/goals that the author wrote HIMSELF.You could see from the earlier chapters of this novel that the author kept trying to find ways to make a romance happen, inserting the obvious FL every chance he got and it only got worse, especially at around chapter(s) 592+ onwards. It would have been all great except how the MC progressed many many chapters earlier. We know that he's a psychopath, and he lacks any feelings. By the time the romance (AKA lovesick desperate author wants some MEOWWW) comes in, its not only unbelievable, it's an insult to readers intelligence and time spent reading.

I hope  you don't make the same mistake of the tryanny  of steel and introduce the guns to fast and focus on cold weapons and infrastructure also it would  be nice to see more kingdom building instead of war and also hope you introduce heram as its fairly  common for powerful men to have them and it died after Christianity  took over and to all the people  who  complain  about the girls falling for the mc easily  in tryanny of steel are stupid first he is the mc second he is handsome third he is rich and powerful  and in old days where daughters wear  wed to just gain some profit and have to say in whatsoever its not hard to imagine why they fell for him being liberal  and all the above reason so they are just stupid I hope you add heram in this also hope this novel also has the mc writing books on philosophy and what  not as he lived in the future and describe  how thing might be in future English is not  my native tongue sorry

Every chapter leaves me wanting more I can’t wait iv read throu 3-4 times and love it

Alright guys settle down, this is not some cheap thrills and instant fight novels like your typical xianxia. It has more poetic and descriptive style, immersive at best and dragging at worst.Some people might said its deep and immersive. Like me. Some people might think its boring and pretentious. Well everybody is entitled to their opinion anyways.This story has steady pacing, detailed world building and deep characterization. The only bad side is the update speed I guess, its not fast enough lol.Story is interesting but ztj is still this author pinnacle so i give it 4 star.

I love the attention to detail of this novel, there are very few novels that the magic protagonist even mentions how magic happens, just *poof* magic...I hope this one receive a warm welcome from the community.

Really unexpected, I'm not really into reading to all the details and stuff of a novel so the rating i gave was just based off my enjoyment of this novel,  Its been really interesting so far and i dont think there's any translation issues,  no faceslapping, not many dumb side characters, im really hoping that mc doesnt get a harem but i guess i'd be ok with it, thanks for the novel mr translator, please keep up the goodwork

So it is really like the other tree story at least in the beginning but the stories get more and more different the further you read. You got good grammar und translations in this one so it is a joy to read.MC is getting more and more OP but hey that‘s always the case when you have a cheating system.Until now the story starts to pick off and I am excited to read how it will develop.So hope it gets picked and for more tree novels like this one to appear maybe with accepting the tree form without always wanting to be human in the end.

I've been thinking which is looking for and the reason why I haven't finished here there's a poor and I can't before chapter sometimes but I love all of her books and this one really got me because I would like yeah play your type books but sometimes what happens even said that it's a riff on all those genres
