The author is an awful bastard who made me think this was just going to be a common harem story at first, just to end up giving me this disgustingly amazing story. Despite what it may seem, the idea of the story is played out in an incredibly novel way, making me and many others unable to put it down. The characters are actually fleshed out, with interactions that actually make sense. While managing to emphasize the main character, the other characts, and the world itself, all hold purpose.Even with all my praise, I will not claim this is a perfect story, nor do I think the story is for everyone. Yet, I have truly enjoyed this story thus far, and the only thing that truly leaves me upset is being unable to read more of it.

The storytelling is very amateurish, there's some blatant fan service and casual sexism, but at least the MC is smart and the system mechanics are interesting.Reading up to chapter 36, I find the MC's rational decision making very refreshing. The game mechanic (where leveling up with soul energy sometimes rewards you with an item instead if there's excess) is creative in its own way.However the storytelling itself is amateurish. Small fights that we know the MC or another character will win are described instead of cut, allowing the plot to progress faster. There's also a lot of repetitive descriptions of characters that should also be cut.Tropes: Ice queen tsundere, a lot of hot blooded men, and OP dark lord MC himself. No arrogant young masters (yet).Also, Lilith could totally be cut out of the beginning. She's only there for comedic relief, fanservice, and to inform the MC of "things he would figure out eventually."Lastly, there is definitely some casual sexism, culture shocks, that people might not like.

I like it, it has a cohesive plot for a smut story and good enough grammer, my only problem is that the plots can seem rushed at some points.

I loved the writing style of author. I've started reading this book and can't stop reading. I recommend the book for everyone. Wish you best of luck author❤️

The book is a nice slow read. I would recommend it if you have some free time and nothing else to do or you're interested in seeing things from the perspective of the infinitely powerful.

i like how the story is evolving cant wait for more chapter?

Hello everyone!I just wanted to write a thank you note here, as I know many people might not see it if I post it in a chapter. Although I suppose many people won't see if it is here either.(So if you see it, congrats! You've won hide and seek!)I just wanted to say thank you all for your support. Today The Legendary Janitor broke through 1000 collections, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about that.I originally started writing this novel with the hopes of reaching 100 collections, thinking that if that many people saw my story and thought it worth their time, it would be worth writing.Truly, it's a bit cliché to say, but I can't really believe that this has happened. I know that TLJ isn't exactly a typical story that finds traction on Webnovel. It's humor, it's slice of life, it's an overemphasis on world building and details that not everyone will appreciate. In many ways, even for me, it isn't a story that is ideal, but rather a story that I find fun to write and fun to explore. So it amazes me that it has gone this far, and so many people have joined Di Tou on his discovery of this world.Thank you.- PenP.S. Also bonus chapters Friday(?) P.P.S. I liked it in the beginning but the further the story went, the more I hated the story. The character development is stupid as there is no depth to the characters in the story. The supporting characters are laughable and pathetic. It's like the author made them very stupid in order to emphasize the MC's intelligence. The MC's character is inconsistent and the timeline twists are a petty excuse for prolonging the story.

"Good thing you did this here and not somewhere else. Since I'm sure you wouldn't be able to hide the evidence as well as I do." He then gives me a smirk. "Not to mention that I have her wrapped around my finger, so if she tries to do anything to you than I can just pressure her." Shrugging he grabs his phone and starts typing on it. Hopefully he is texting someone to come and clean up this mess.
