I tried reading this, I really tried to drag myself through the grammatical errors and get past them, but they don't end. so if you're used to reading books with good grammar, as you should, you won't have a very good time with this book.  The story is told in first person and the author/editor uses the wrong words for everything. good luck getting through this book unless you aren't used to reading English anyways.

Editor review. Another novel from Lonelytree and me, and this one is one of my favourites. The plot and premise are unique, the novel can be really funny at times, and there are genuinely scary moments (especially if you're alone at night ?). I highly recommend giving this novel a try ?

I usually don't read romance as long as the main character isn't a female one, but I believe this novel is worth your time if you're looking for something and your plan to read list is already empty.I really feel conflicted when reading this novel. There is a big harem tag but I didn't expect the harem to turn this way. The plot is interesting, the characters too and sometimes you want to kill the main character because he's too full of himself. However when you start, you cannot keep reading. You want to know what happens to each of the characters, you want to know if it will end well for them.As usual expect the stereotypes from a mainland China writer, which translates into the novel...

Dude who puts deicide in the summary. I legit thought the people who wrote the summary misspelled ‘decide’ and wondered why people would use this word instead of ‘God killing’ blade....

It’s a mildly interesting concept, it isn’t anything groundbreaking but it’s kinda entertaining. The grammar is horrible and is what made me choose to drop the novel. If the story and the development of characters was better I could read around the grammar but it didn’t engage me enough to even try.

Jack and his system is what could be categorized as an old and ancient cinnamon buns. There is only a few chapters as of current but I think it deserves some credit for writing a unique story in its genre. The mc is wise and knowledgeable and it's interesting to have a person with the mind of a veteran appeared to act realistically because of the culture shock and not just a plain one dimensional character. Although as of current the mc doesn't have a clear goal other than trying to survive with bruises and weak body(it's still around 12 chapter this review got written). It serve as a foundation of power development where Jack Armstrong could rise and be at his prime again. The system have a lot of potential with how it's displayed. It's like an rng autogrowth in a roguelite, affected by many factor like environment, trait, aggressiveness, where the tentacle is given a random perk everytime its Mutagen has successfully created a mutated ability. There is only few legit fighting action but that alone shows that the mc knows what he was doing although nervous because of the different logic in this world. So if you want some good action with reasonable mc, this book is for you.Still fresh but there is no sign of murkiness, it's going to get clearer and clearer as the time goes on. Because there is not a single info dump given and that's good.5/5, reccomended and still waiting for chapter
