Khalid and Dani are both great characters. Totally different but find middle ground in their love for their sibling and hate for their father.   Gives their relationship an interesting extra dynamic as she is a vampire and he a hunter so born to hate each other.

Awesome ...

All they can do now is try to defend and minimize the casualty before the reinforcements arrives.
