All the characters are extremely bland, except perhaps the MC's mercenary group having at least 2D characteristics. All the female players are insufferable and friendly with eachother. The MC is everyone else's *****, he does everything for them under the guise of him being a "good person".The only time he got pissed off was because some retarded woman from his guild almost lost him tens of thousands of dollars worth of top-grade equipment that belonged to a friend of his, but he immediately cucked out and forgave her. If you turn of your brain and read for some faceslapping it is enjoyable but there is clearly very little though going into it. characters are flat and motivations for/outcomes of their actions are often extremely illogical. anything goes as long as it creates conflicts to drive the story.

Good book. I know some people say this is a tower defense, but the MC reminds me a lot more of a dungeon core. Setting up traps and defenders, while putting up treasures and prizes to lure adventurers. Only in a xianxia!
