The book indeed starts off interesting with the MC wishing to achieve his goal of entering medical school yet after getting there through a fortuitous opportunity turns into an apathetic twat, who really can’t be bothered studying or attending lectures as he is suddenly gifted with his martial medical knowledge. The character development for the supporting cast is quite decent yet the MC is just useless, his performance, his social skills and his general antipathy to everything and anyone unless it benefits him just makes him not that captivating as the main character.I tried to stick with the story line but after chapter 165 I just had enough. TL;DR : find another story to give time to.
I read a few chapters but just couldn't get into it. The author keeps pointing out that he's wearing open crotch pants so his penis is revealed. Thought it'd get better but it didn't. Plus, flipping his penis when he's a baby? Yeah, I wish I could forget about that but I can't. I forgot which novel it was, but there was one where a dad told his son (the main character) that he used to play with his penis as a baby. Sorry, but that turns me away from a story.
Let's make the first actual review. The story is extremely repetitive and cliche. It's almost identical to countless others cultivation stories. You have the ex-girlfriend betraying him with an arrogant young master, he's treated like trash by everyone, well, you get where this is going... It's not entirely bad, though. Author seems not to be an *******, he might develop this novel in a better way in the upcoming chapters.
Pretty much a xianxia with a Mc that is considered trash and untalented but gets a fortuitous opportunity and becomes stronger than those more talented than him. As there are not too many chapters so I will refrain from making too many points but it has plenty of usual problems. For Example, The background is loosely explained with little to no interactions and the ones that do happen are bland or forced with the usual looking down on Mc. Characters are not fleshed out and author seems to be trying to focus on Mc alone with other characters only being there for convenience.
It was baffling and hilarious at the same time. So much panic and change being caused just by his appearance… He stayed floating like this a little while longer, until he got bored and decided to state his reason for coming to their planet. It was easy for him to telepathically speak straight to the minds of all the inhabitants on the planet.
