I mean, this isn't a post-apocalyptic world, it's a survival during apocalypse, and it makes you quite eager to read it ! And it's very well done ! I can't say much without spoiling but the world setting is great and quite logical!The bad points.Translation quality : I gave this 1 star and would have given 0 if it was possible. It's true that the story is readable since it's not badly written, but there's something awful about this translation. You should have seen that the translating pace is incredible, and there's something we can all deduce : a lot of people are working on this. But I don't think they work together. Some characters have their names changed from time to time (Zhao Gang), items have their characteristics changed too (he has 1.5m blade which is described in 6-7 differents ways, and most of the time they say it's a KNIFE !!! WTH?) Well, the translators don't work together, and the reading experience worsens quite fast because of this. I think an proofreader or TLcheck would make this better. This is quite sad, but i've become used to it...Story development: Well, it's a survival, but the hero's quite generous (or he thinks he is. i just think he's an hypocrite, but that will wait for the next point). So there are quite a few people introduced. The quest system is repetitive, void of surprises, and you even want to skip the fight scenes since it's too much into description and often farfetched. There's not many objectives in his life, he's just chasing after girls whenever he has the opportunity. Especially other people's girls. I find the pace quite slow too. 150 chapters soon, and you wander why you're reading this. Btw, he tries to have a harem, willingly or not.Characters: I'll mainly talk about the hero, because the author is quite stupid. He makes 2 kinds of characters (excluding the mc) : the hero's girls, future girls, ex girls, possible love interest and so on, and the rest. The former has plot armor (obvious), and the latter is expendable. The authors sometimes kills the latter, or makes him betray the MC, just fail an evolution, or just quit. Then there's the MC. He was quite decent at first. Selfish but decent. But the more i read, the worse he appears. First he rapes a widow (a 2 weeks widow, she says no multiple times, but he thinks she's okay with it). You can pratically say he'll be a pedophile soon (14 years love interest) and rapist another time. Oh, and the number of collateral victims, or innocent that die because of him is staggering.Then there's his ability. With his abilities he can make his country survive the apocalypse, but he's too selfish to even imagine that possibility. There's even a time when he volontarly gives up on someone in his group and decide to go away. Until one of the girls tells him to fetch the poor dude : he's like 'oh, i didn't know about him, i'll be back in a few minutes after saving him !'. So he's a huge hypocrite.I'm dropping this.
