considering dimension where plot is happening, I got a feeling, it is world of long forgotten past,
when you saw film adaptation, and later did read a book is one thing.
But reading for the first time, but seeing it like déjà woo, ... I'm not speaking about plot alone, but build of the world given here.
in "Lord of the rings" classic it is, but world is flat black&white for me,
_"edge of tomorrow" there's a being that cannot be killed, how could you try. Seems hopeless, but actually it's easy to resolve once getting mind right. - sealed it is in time itself.
I see it like people of today's era lost the qualifications to use/feel internal energy because of inability to maintain greed and trying to get it all... and almost extinguishing life.
