Fights in this are like in Kung fu movies, MC fights 30 enemies of same cultivation and they just stand there and get killed by MC while all he gets is a couple cuts. It’s too exaggerated but fine, I can ignore it cause he fouGht beasts in the forest for 1 year so he got super combat sense now and everybody else never fought before in their life.?????Cartoonish Brain dead enemies and fellow disciples who mock him for being weak after casually slapping a guy with higher cultivation to near death. Everybody but MC is as smart as a child.Characters are so cliche it hurts, fatty friend and ice cold beauty who is only nice to MC. Monkey is cool I guess.Plot armor power ups that just fall on MCs head from nowhere, the woman at the start, fine that’s his ‘cheat’, but I can’t help but roll my eyes when an ancient cultivator who’s been fighting poison for 5000 years saves MC out of sure death then gives him all his possessions and asks nothing of him in return. No bring my corpse back to my sect, or spread my ashes in my village. It’s like his sole existence was to drop off treasures for the MC then die to his poison. Not good but not that bad either, it can still be entertaining but it’s nothing special.???

Great novel! The beginning may be discouraging but it gets better with the next chapters. I hope all is well with the author and more new chapters are forthcoming!I recommend to anyone who likes interesting characters and well shown relationships between them.

While I can't deny that there are some of the usual cliches for the modern cultivation genre, this story has enough twists on them that it manages to differentiate itself.Unlike a lot of the genre, this MC doesn't have a system, and doesn't need to cultivate after being reborn. He's strong from the start with just some one paragraph throwbacks to what allowed him to develop whatever skill he's using to get through a situation. He seems a bit arrogant, but in general it only comes across that way due to his blunt language. He's a country boy who has overinflated goals, but doesn't see why that's a problem since it just makes sense to him when he has the ability to achieve them. He sees it more as he's not the weird one, the city folk are the ones who don't get it.Granted the whole "city folk are just weird/crazy/complicated/arrogant" shtick will probably get old, but it wasn't quite overbearing, at least for the duration of the trial read. And the story is funny enough so far to have gotten a few chuckles, and at least two seriously laugh out loud moment. The main issue I could see from the trial read is that the early chapters are pretty loose and lighthearted with all the bumpkin-ness, but toward the end it starts getting a little... dark. Oddly enough the real laughs were in the later chapters as well, but as you learn about the MC, you realize he's still definitely a bumpkin, but he's not all fun and games, just mostly.

Gooooodddaaahhh..,....,.....very good. Light and easy to swallow. Ugh. 140 characters minimum, fine! What I really liked about the story is how the author chose to portray the flavor text or MC background if you will. Even the misunderstood background story was chilling and convincing. I really hope the author continues to do a good job and won't suddenly drop. But well beggars can't be choosers I guess.

who the f is Leon?, definitely needs some editing. I assume the mc was named Leon in a previous draft, also there is a chapter way out of order ,.......................

It needs work but I can tell the author is passionate and likes to write. I can appreciate the effort and am willing to respect the dedication to writing something of this length. There’s a lot of room for change and improvement.

Great story, the only issue is that the naming conventions are really offputting and having me constantly questioning what I am reading.....

Ok fine, Jungkook thinks, maybe Rapmon needs some time to work out his thoughts. He's a philosophical guy, after all—maybe there's some deep life meaning that he's derived from his and Kookie's shower episode and he's trying to digest it all. But...after a full two weeks of blatantly avoiding him, Jungkook realizes that Rapmon is just really, really terrified. He's the leader of their group, and Jungkook understands why Rapmon is likely taking this all in a bad light—because he's the maknae and usually things like this don't happen between bandmates anyway, but it's not like Jungkook has given any sign that he's mad at Namjoon. He's been friendly and even tried talking and joking around, but Namjoon just ends up looking at him like he's grown a second head and retreats into his own sphere even more. It pisses Jungkook off, honestly, because now even the others can sense the tension between them and knows that something is going on. Taehyung keeps nudging Jungkook during their breaks, asking him what's going on and pleading that he and Rapmon make up fast because they want their regular group dynamic back.
