i have a problem reading the tags. Is the betrayal part going to be his fiance/s or some close friends going out with his fiance? or even plotting to kill him coming from his friends or fiance?

It's in the synopsis, mc (first life) and MC's father was betrayed by MC's senior brother

Actually, I had high hopes and it started off well, but after it rose to the divine realm, it started to become a lot of nonsense. I dont give a spoiler . I read about 1000 chapters, I won't be able to continue any more, I wish patience to my friends who will read it.

The only bad thing about the novel is that some people are killed very easily. I may stop reading just because of this.

If you're not an Immortal with eternal lifespan, DON'T READ THIS STORY. It's dragged and dragged, sh*t stops making sense for 500+ chapters. Realms that initially go from 1-9 with entry middle late etc start having ambiguous 'sub realms'.

This is a short spoiler free (I hope) review from me.
While some people will be turned off by the genre, or because they read a few chapters of MTL, I'll just state maybe two major selling points for me which differentiates this novel from the other eastern fantasy novels out there.
Firstly, as the title suggests, alchemy plays a major role in this novel. While many novels also have alchemy, the MC's life basically revolves around alchemy here, which is different from how alchemy is normally considered an auxiliary skill. The MC here views it as much more, which he also proves later on in the novel (multiple times).
Rather than mindless fighting, I like a novel that touches more on the other aspects.
Second, and I feel that this is by far the biggest selling point for me. THE MC IS NOT A HOMICIDAL MANIAC!
He doesn't go like: "Hey you, you had a lewd face when looking at my wife no. 69, I'll kill your entire family and revive your ancestors to kill them as revenge. Then, I'll extinguish all karma threads tied to you, killing everyone that even remotely knows you!"
AND THE BAD GUYS HERE ARE NORMAL!! They don't go around killing people for some stupid reason. They worry about repercussions from going overboard! These people weren't dropped on their heads as a baby like those arrogant mass murderers who will slaughter entire cities because someone looked at them funny. They are actually people that you can like! To me, it's like a breath of fresh air from those madmen in AST or MGA.
Yeah, so, a good story is about delivery rather than the idea anyway. So don't skip it just because of its genre.

Well I was reading all the review of other people and was kind of bias against this novel deciding I've read enough reincarnation/silk pant/loving parent type story. Then I read the translator's own comment and I've to say it caught my attention. I want villains who have reason to kill, I want MC who's main aspect is not his iron fist(F*cking terrible Netflix show btw). So translator I'll be reading this when it comes out. Don't disappoint me.


Thinking of changing username (Suggestions?)

Fairly average novel, nothing really unique or outstanding about it so far.

On top of that, I especially dislike the fact that the translators are soliciting 4-5 star reviews in exchange for additional chapters. It just seems dishonest and manipulative, and I don't really feel like supporting that kind of behaviour.

Maybe in the future, if the novel starts to diverge from it's cliched and frankly quite boring story; and if the translators stop trying to manipulate the reviews, I will come back and increase my rating, but as it is at the moment I can't really endorse this novel.

** I would like to point out that I have no problem with translators asking people to give powerstones in exchange for extra chapters, as many other translators do so and in the end, if they are able to persuade anyone with this method then it's a testament as to how much people enjoy the story anyway, and is therefore not undeserved.
