Read up to ch 118. Was readable till then but I really couldn’t Anymore. Save yourself some time and skip this. It is so forced and cliche with zero dimensional characters with typical young master types.

Now that the first volume is finally over, I decided to make this to give an overview about what you should expect.The story follows Leo Lock, a reader that everyone on this app could probably relate to(even if a little), as he slowly uncovers what it means to be a ‘reader’ from the very center of the novel itself.While he isn’t exactly a top of the world genius, Leo falls within the range of smart mcs. He utilizes his knowledge about the novel and common tropes alongside his upgraded ‘reading’ to change his standing within the novel, obtaining certain benefits as he does so. Although this might seem to be an overdone concept at this point, it should have its own unique points.Finally, though you will have to read to understand how it works in this novel, this is an ‘infinity’ novel. Hope you find it enjoyable if you do read, and feel free to ask any(spoiler free) questions in the comments.

Instead, of the room with Parley and everyone else, Max was in a copper room when he woke up. It lead into a silver hall that was dark, even when Max shined his spare light. On the side of the room were chains and attached to them was a body. Max ran to the other side of the room. 3 bodies were across the wall. Each one dead, each one having their face covered by a strange white mask. It had a painted smile and two cut out eyes, both of which had purple streams of tears coming out of them, also painted on. It was disturbing. Max screamed and ran down the silver hall. He ran until he couldn't run. Until he hit something. He felt a strain on his throat. There was something towering over him. He was being strangled and picked up off the ground. He struggled as the metal hand grew tighter around his neck. He could barely make out the figure trying to kill him, they were shrouded in the darkness, even though Max's light was shining straight at them. All he could see were two bunny ears.

In my opinion, this is one of the best revenge stories out of the whole site. Done extremely well in term of eastern/slightly western mix fantasy. The highlight is obviously the fight and the main character being out for blood and revenge with infinite aura farm. Of course, this story set up uses the basic there’s always a sky above the sky set up which can feel abit lacking in term of world development which is going to be an issue once the main story point ends (the revenge part) and I hope the author wrap up the story by then. But otherwise. This is a really enjoyable read.
