So far, the novel has been quite enjoyable. If you're looking for a story with a classic trope of an evil noble girl, this would definitely be a suitable choice for you.

The highlights were:
1. Heartwarming conclusions for everyone involved.
2. Limited dog-related conflict, keeping the focus on a smoother narrative.
3. No unnecessary plot twists with new villains introduced solely for dramatic effect.
4. The author provided a clear resolution without dragging out the story unnecessarily.

However, there were downsides:
1. Insufficient plot development beyond the main antagonists, leaving room for more depth.
2. The author's writing style and choice of language suggested a younger audience (high school level), which influenced the predictable nature of the story.
3. The story leaned towards being overly sentimental, which could be appealing or off-putting depending on personal taste.
4. Lack of character growth, making the characters feel one-dimensional.

Overall, I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars. While it wasn't an exceptional read, it was an enjoyable one. Some readers might find it delightful, and personally, I had a satisfactory experience.

This is a lighthearted and fluffy novel, but my only critique is that the ending felt quite abrupt. Many plot points, such as Ji Shihan's brother's transformation or the development between Ji Shihan and Wen Yue, were left unresolved. Ji Shihan's brother's character seemed like a potential antagonist, but his change was too sudden after a single punch. Wen Yue's introduction seemed solely to create tension between Shi Chen and his mother, and he disappeared shortly afterward without further exploration. There was potential for a deeper connection between Ji Shihan and Wen Yue, but it was completely overlooked.

Regarding the ending, the most significant point is Nan Xiao's arc. He was portrayed as persistent and unyielding, yet his storyline was abruptly cut off. I expected him to play a bigger role in disrupting the main characters' relationship, given his誓言 not to give up. However, the ending was rushed, leaving me unsatisfied. On the positive note, I'm glad that Shi Ning didn't end up with Nan Xiao, as it deviated from the typical romance trope.

Throughout the story, the focus on studying and romance was clear, and the title appropriately describes the主角 as a Mary Sue character. Everyone fell for her, and she effortlessly overcame challenges. While she was depicted as kind, wise, and innocent, it would have added more depth if there were more conflicts and internal struggles. Overall, it's an enjoyable read for passing the time, despite the lack of angst and depth in some areas.

First, I read the translated chapters, followed by my own rough translation of the rest. The love story aspect can be described as a typical high school fantasy, where the female lead (FL) is surrounded by a group of charming, yet young and inexperienced boys. Although there might be potential for drama, the author seems to prioritize the FL's academic journey, steering clear of unnecessary conflicts.

The author skips over the emotional roller coaster experienced by Shi Chen due to her mother's complicated relationships and the eventual revelation, leaving readers curious about the aftermath.

Similarly, the subplot involving FL's brother's mother and the drama it could bring is not fully explored. After Shi Chen confronts her mother about the betrayal, the story takes a different turn without delving deeper.

Questions arise: What happens to Jin Yan, her lover and Jin Shin's father? What's the fate of Wan Yue? How would the Jin family react if they discovered Wan Yue's existence, especially Jin Shang? And how would the Shi family, particularly Shi Chen and his father, handle the situation if they learned about her relationship?

Ideally, the author could provide satisfying resolutions for the supporting characters, like giving them happy endings and romantic connections, like in the original story where Nan Xiao ends up with Tong Lu. These loose ends leave readers wanting more, which is why I decided to search for the additional five chapters, hoping they might provide some answers. Apologies for only having access to the first 90 chapters, and discovering there are extra ones later on.

The storyline is decent - a light and heartwarming tale with minimal conflict. However, I deducted stars due to glaring plot inconsistencies and the evident immaturity in the writing. To be honest, it's not terrible, but it has the potential to be far superior. At the 84th chapter, my frustration led me to pen this review. It's peculiar how the original female lead (FL) was seemingly forgotten so effortlessly; she's only briefly mentioned here, despite the need for clarification about her relationship with the male leads. It's strange how everyone suddenly distances themselves from her upon the arrival of the new FL. While I acknowledge the focus on the new soul and the novel's main plot, the abrupt abandonment of the original FL feels unjustified. Apart from a single instance where the new soul intervenes to stop bullying, her character is largely absent, creating a significant plot hole. If you prefer simple narratives and stories centered around a female protagonist being showered with attention from multiple men, this might pique your interest.

As the plot unfolded, the identity of the main male character became clear. This story falls under the genre of a campus romance without excessive melodrama, featuring three potential love interests and a secondary character that adds complexity. Despite the two time jumps – one from freshmen to seniors and another focusing on university life – the narrative flowed seamlessly, defying expectations of rushed storytelling. Initially, I was unsure about the true leading man, but subtle clues were provided from the beginning, leaving me satisfied with the chosen protagonist.

My only disappointment lay in the abrupt ending, which left some loose ends unresolved. The original female lead's fate remained ambiguous, as she wasn't portrayed as entirely villainous. Additionally, one of the potential love interests held on, leaving readers wanting more. Despite these open questions, I wouldn't have traded the heartwarming and occasionally sweet story for the intense revenge plots that dominate the Chinese novel section. Overall, it was a delightful read, albeit with a touch of sweetness that could potentially induce a sugar rush.

The high school setting seemed overly lengthy, with a strong emphasis on academics. The development of their romantic relationship and character growth as a couple received insufficient attention. Although it had its moments of sweetness, I wished for more intimate and affectionate scenes to explore their bond.
