The story was born from this writing prompt:
"Cultivator f*cks off and becomes a farmer"
At it's core it's a slice of life, though the action can get quite intense at times. Basically it's a giant middle finger to all Xianxia tropes, where the mc runs away to the weakest possible place and lives there happily with minimal cultivator b*llsh*t. Naturally sh*t happens eventually, but it's not like some trash 'mc hides his power' novel where it gets revealed within the first couple chapters.
In my opinion it's an absolute masterpiece, being my #1 favorite novel of all time, with #2 being Suicide Hunter and #3 being The Simulacrum.
