Wow... I must admit that I'm rather late in reviewing this compared to others on ATP, and I actually finished the novel a few weeks ago. I'm unsure what prompted me to write this review at such an unusual hour, but here's my take.

This webnovel, I confess, I might be a bit biased. It's undeniably well-written, with an engaging plot and lovable characters. However, what initially captivated me wasn't the plot or characters but the tropes themselves – arranged marriage, second chance, childhood friends, and the entertainment industry – oh, count me in! Regardless, the novel holds several of my favorite themes, which is why it still lingers in my mind.

The overall tone and premise have a subtle sentimental touch, but in a positive way. The characters develop gradually, allowing readers to connect with their authenticity. The author skillfully weaves emotions and actions into the story, immersing the reader deep within its world.

The main characters, the male lead (ML) and female lead (FL), form an intriguing dynamic. They're an unlikely pair, with limited contact over two years and contrasting personalities. Despite this, their connection is driven by unspoken longing.

Our FL is anything but your typical sunshine character; she's dramatic, passionate, and hiding vulnerability beneath her bold exterior. The ML, on the other hand, embodies quiet gentleness. He supports her through tough times without expecting anything in return, embodying a gentle love that tugs at the reader's heartstrings.

As @solivagantso mentioned, "I can't help but fall for this, and it's seriously underappreciated." I wholeheartedly agree. This webnovel, from the MCs' introduction to the entertaining storyline, offers a rewarding read. Despite its underrated status, it possesses the potential to gain immense popularity. Don't miss out on the gorgeous manga-style illustrations!

At its core, this story revolves around two imperfect individuals healing each other and growing together through silent longing. It's not heavy, but rather a heartwarming tale. So, give it a try – I promise, it's light-hearted and uplifting, not a downer! Enjoy, and kiss for me ?!

Now that I've finished reading it, I'm left feeling an immense void, craving for more depth. I struggle to find adequate words to express just how much I adore the story, the main characters' love (ML) and their relationship (FL). A point brought up about the FL's manager resonated with me – their handling of the situation involving the antagonist and the FL was truly disappointing. I understand that this plot twist was crucial for the progression of the marriage, but it still left me disheartened by the manager's decision not to expose the truth, which inadvertently cast a shadow of guilt on the FL.

The story was unexpectedly delightful! Despite a few underdeveloped conclusion chapters, I thoroughly enjoyed the journey and found myself smiling throughout. I appreciated how the characters evolved and became more complex. This novel truly captures the essence of a heartwarming romantic comedy in the entertainment industry! The translation was top-notch as well. Thank you so much! [Overall rating: 4.5]

Initially, I chose to read the novel after reading the manga because of its shorter chapters. The storyline is adorable, and I really enjoy both the female lead (FL) and male lead (ML). If it were to be adapted into a drama, I would definitely watch it.

Yeah... I agree with you, he is evil but in my opinion the author didn't really gave much of a valid reason.. It's okay for him to be cold and indifferent towards humanity for what he had gone through, but it didn't made sense why he was even cold to his friends which helped him, actually he should have been more considerate towards personal relationships since there were his master and his mother who literally exchanged their lives for his.

I would rate this novel 4.5 stars. Prior to diving into it, I had read its manga adaptation, which was charming, by the way – the artwork is stunning and highly recommended. Reading the novel provided additional depth, as there were many details left out in the manga. The story was filled with delightful fluff that kept me engaged until 3 AM, chapter after chapter. Although it lacked a strong plot, the cuteness factor was off the charts. However, towards the end, it leaned a bit too much into cheesiness. Nevertheless, overall, it's a heartwarming and lighthearted read.

It seems like you've shared your thoughts on a novel that had a significant impact on you, considering your emotional state at the time of reading. Here's a rewritten version of your review in English:

---

First off, I must clarify that my opinions might be influenced by my own experiences, particularly since I read this during a depressive period. However, here's a summary of my impressions:

The novel initially portrayed the main characters as potentially sweet and private, but the description turned out to be quite different from what I expected. Despite that, I held onto the hope that at least one character would develop genuine feelings for the other. But a major plot twist came as a surprise – the relationship was primarily a contract, which left me somewhat disappointed, especially when the male lead's love for the female lead (FL) developed over an extended period.

One aspect that annoyed me was the treatment of the FL by the first co-star (CP). She faced years of unfair condemnation for someone else's actions, and her manager's lack of support felt unjust. Additionally, the cheater's partner's one-sided blame on the FL was frustrating, given that both were involved in the situation.

Another issue was the FL's uncle, who failed to assist her during a crucial moment, possibly due to past conflicts. His rigid beliefs and disdain towards her choices created tension in the story, and his inability to change his mind seemed rooted in his upbringing.

Lastly, I found the ambiguous writing style problematic. The authors often exaggerated the protagonists' talents, only to compare them unfavorably with new characters introduced later, which felt inconsistent and irritating.

While this review might be critical, I understand that everyone's reading experience is subjective, and I hope my thoughts spark a discussion rather than hatred.

Hahaha. It is certainly a bit confusing as its first image is better known than this one. In fact, I hadn't seen this one before until I searched for Ending Maker images to put on my profile.

Lol. I didn't even notice the tag until reading your comment, and was briefly very confused about what was going on in this comment section.

People get oddly heated about things they aren't into being enjoyed by others, no idea why. This may not be my cup of tea, but enjoy your yaoi ?
