The Police Officer Can’t Help But Flirt

In a blood-soaked prologue, a ruthless young general massacres the city of Yang, killing everyone including the Earth God’s devotees. When the deity confronts him, the general reveals his motive: the city’s people killed a woman he loved. The Earth God, unable to protect her, curses the general to serve as a divine messenger in the afterlife. The general dies, and his soul is bound to the temple.

Centuries later, Lin Qianyou is an 18th-tier actress struggling in the entertainment industry. Haunted by her brother’s interference in her life choices and facing constant rejection, she visits the dilapidated Earth God Temple in a moment of despair. Lin Qianyou’s career takes a sudden turn when she is cast as the third female lead, a role originally sought by Ye Shuwan.
