You Mi is a human who transmigrated to Snerth, a planet inhabited by monsters who revere the extinct human form and typically adopt humanoid appearances with monstrous features like horns, tails, and tentacles. Disguised as a tiny, malnourished native from the Black Miasma Wasteland, You Mi struggles to survive while hiding his true identity as the last human. He is aided by Lin En, a two-meter-tall Snar with octopus-like tentacles, who mistakes him for a vulnerable orphan and offers him friendship and employment. You Mi’s primary goal is to accumulate enough wealth to purchase a Monster Horn set and an Optical Brain, essential accessories for blending in and securing a stable life on Snerth.

After being fired from a furniture factory for being too weak, You Mi finds work as a model for a music box at a high-end restaurant, a role that requires no dancing, only standing still inside the rotating box. His unique, doll-like appearance makes him an instant sensation, earning him a high daily wage. During the filming of a variety show called "Switched Lives," Prince Joseph visits the restaurant and becomes fixated on You Mi’s quiet, motionless figure.
