I thoroughly enjoyed this narrative. The characters, including the main protagonist, are well-developed, and the romance is engaging. What sets the main character apart is her unique ability linked to her emotions, which allows her to choose whom to rescue despite not being a fighter or genius. The scene where Aceras confronts her was particularly powerful, as she stood up to him after enduring so much due to his self-centered nature.
Cedric, as the male lead, is exceptional – his unwavering devotion and genuine love for Dalia are admirable. He supports her without trying to control or isolate her, ensuring her happiness. The fact that the ML initiates the relationship and actively pursues the MC adds an extra layer of charm.
The story itself is solid, with an intriguing premise. Although I found the conflict revolving around a single man somewhat limiting, it fit within the established world context. There were only a few minor issues that bothered me. I wished for more intimate moments between the main couple, as their love story felt incomplete without deeper connection. Additionally, it would have been nice to see more interaction between the MC and other characters, especially after she defeated them. Their camaraderie could have been explored further, particularly between the MC and her brother, who were delightful characters.
Lastly, a few plot holes and logistical inconsistencies were present, but they didn't detract significantly from the overall experience. The translation was excellent, and the story was a real treat. This is definitely one of my all-time favorite romance novels.
