Oh lord. This is horrendous.As the synopsis says, MC's wife joins a television show. The wife does something first half of the chapter. The audience mock her for the next half. This continues on for a while. Whilst this is happening you have the MC moaning about how much he hates his privileged life - that wealth and power means nothing to him. He would rather just live an ordinary working-class life till the day he dies. Just from hearing this, experienced readers should know it's a tragedy waiting to happen. And indeed, it's really tragic alright! For hundreds of chapters you have this MC with obvious mental illness of staying low-key whilst he, and his loved ones are mocked - only for the situation to somehow or other, reveal that he is in-fact...the world's richest man. It's the worst type, m@sochistic I'd say, type of power fantasy. This author loves underestimated face slapping shtick a bit too much. I initially thought the reviews were exaggerating how bad it was. No. It's much, much, worse!

Recently chapters 1-25 have been retranslated so many of the previous complaints in reviews have been addressed.  The novel has also returned to 5ch/wk.  Having gotten that out of the way:This is a fun novel to read,  it's full of interesting characters and the MC is memorable.   It's very reminiscent of Chen Dong novels, with beast companions, anti-hero MCs, along with bits of humor sprinkled throughout the story. The translation & editing are very good. Leaps & bounds above most other QI novels. The TL team's retranslation of earlier chapters should be commended. They may not be the fastest,  but their dedication to this novel is great!Definitely a hidden gem on webnovel.com that should get more attention!

Author here. This is my wsa addition, and a book that I spent a lot of time trying to perfect. Although I don't dare claim that it is, I think that this is a well written book.There will be guild building, op mc, absolutely no harem, and good progression, I promise.and ever since I finished my exams, I have also tried my best to maintain a 2 chapter a day release cycle. I think that you will love the book as long as u give it a chance.

Wow off the bat,i amell a plot, we already have a love intRest/childhood besTfriend basically trying to sell the MC to a a basic death areNa,a motHer who cares mOre about herself than her Own son(MC),and a naive MC who saCrifices himself. alright hopefully his head will clear up and he will get his revenge

So far, its been an amazing story. A story that also inspires and motivates the author.There are lots of lessons in this book, ranging from love, patience, strength and focus.Its a book to read for everyone..

This very good novel is funny and enjoyable great work author i recommend this novel
