The novel was an enjoyable read, but I felt it was somewhat brief. I wished there was more content exploring FL's time with the male lead during his younger years, as their interactions were particularly captivating. I would have appreciated delving deeper into their relationship as they grew older.
Nonetheless, I thoroughly appreciated the FL's character – she was caring, kind, yet坚强和果断 when necessary. However, I disagreed with her approach in dealing with certain situations, especially regarding her manipulative coworker. It would have been more satisfying if she had taken matters into her own hands instead of relying solely on the ML.
The ML, despite his younger age during the time travel, was relatable and understandable, given that Yu Zhi Le was the only genuine support he had. His heartbreak when she left left a deep impression on me.
Additionally, the novel heavily centered on gossip and rumors, which added a touch of drama to the story. Fortunately, these elements didn't overshadow the plot, and I appreciated that the author didn't let them drag on unnecessarily.
