The Cruel Mafia and Its Collateral Women - Reviews

The story of the novel is quite straightforward which is basketball. Simply basketball. This correlates with his character, as from my perspective, the protagonist is emotionless and sole pursuit in life is basketball. The world is self-explanatory (USA).Honestly, this novel is quite boring. There's nothing besides basketball, which I understand is the whole theme and all, but what about his family? the audience's (people in the novel) perspective? romantic interests? Essentially, he's like a robot.

I needed three approaches till i finally managed to enjoy the story, but then i really did. So let me explain why:(I've read 206 chapters at the point of this review)First of all, i'm quite sensible with sad stuff. I don't like it if girls suffer and i just want everyone end up happily together as "family". And when i started to read i hated the mc. I felt terrible for the girls and really disliked everything about the mc.I've talked about the novel with a "friend" of mine, after the author recommended it in my forum thread and he started and continued reading it as well. Later he approached me again and urged me to give the novel another try to at least read till chapter ~25, or maybe even ~80, because in those parts there would come really huge character developments. And and tried to give the novel another chance.He was right, after the start i really enjoyed the novel more and more. The characters are interesting, the romance is partly really super fluffy and after the start and the character development i really started to accept the mc as well.I still had some "problems" with the twisted relationships some girls have/had before. And i still can't totally forgive the mc what he's done to some girls. But the romance and harem overall is so fluffy and lovable, that i really enjoyed it a lot. The romance itself turned into something with deep feelings (and not only ***) with the characters really caring for each other. And the harem setting hasn't much unnecessary drama but shows how much they love each other. It's also nice to see, that not everything only depend on the mc but that the girls will also be part of the work/solution.So if you are like me, bad with sad stuff and mostly here for the fluffy harem: Try to read past chapter 30. The story and the characters will change and it will be a fluffy and caring relationship. And many of those dark things the mc did may not be as dark as it seems and/or get a good ending.

Awesome book, thought it would be more like gamers of the underworld where I had a lot of expectations for it and end up disappointed by how slow it was, but this book besides the rocky start (really, who tf can make a good start in a book though?) the novel progresses quite nicely and is a good read with my only complaint being how we’re still not sure what the mc’s power level is at all.

great novel so far. I hope the author doesn't change his way of writing or place characters recklessly. All in all, a beautiful novel that I will follow.

Already stated that you have a knack for writing, you’re able to pull readers into your story with simplicity, the way you describe the world in a view that it almost seems it’s coming from the character themselves. Another note to illuminate  is your characters introduced so far all seem different, lifelike. I hope you continue writing.

Never did I felt that after 20 chapters i'm so invested in a book !!! The author feels smart and don't go the easy way out and thinks before writing and it pays well !!! Great works so far !!!

Opposite her sat Beth, all glamorous and hair up high. She sat doing her nails while in a call, her eyebrows coming together in a look that Jen recognised as her losing her patience slowly. Jen shook her head. It didn't look like a good day for calls. All around her phones rung once before as an alert for the call handler,popping on her own headphones and  checking the team schedule for the day.

"A Neural Interface can be installed and initialized in less than five minutes.  Would you like to proceed?" The system clarified and then asked.

Milly laughed. "Nope. Why else do you think your fan girls are so rabid? Has the craze hit over there yet?"

"Kill me already," Crayne said falling to his knees and clutching his head, "I can't take this, too much," His head hit the floor as the environment began making his brain go crazy, "Kill me!"
