Lochlann sat in the corner of his cell, holding the piece of metal in his hands, worrying about where he was, where his wife was, where Cem was, and if Fenrir would ever come back. But for now, he was trapped in the dark room. The only source of light was the slightly glowing red from the eight or so circles of the night-vision video camera trained on Lochlann. For the first time in his life, he felt like he had reached the end of the line. Perhaps this was to be the end of his life. Perhaps he wasn't supposed to have even made it this far. He had no way of knowing.
