Here is my review of Machina Arcanis: Two World CollidedWorld Building: Blending the concept of magic with sci-fi such as mecha is truly fascinating choice and I think this book delivered quite well on the execution. I also like the author gave a vivid description of the world and even its setting. I also like the author added the mystery of the threat.Characters: Jack as a main character is solid and quite fun too. I do like in the story, he controlled 15 hive-minded mech at once. In Mecha Genre is a fresh element for a main character riding and controlling a hive-minded or legion of mechas at once and I think the author so far deliver it quite well in the story. Also Jack is quite active protagonist too which is for me it's a plus point. For other characters, they are all fine and servicable so far, I hope the author can expand more about them.Plot: So far, the pacing and the plot is both smooth and well neat with each chapters either fleshing out the events or build up something interesting. Overall, if you are a fan of Mecha with some magic elements, this book is a good fit for it.
