This is a relatively well done fantasy apocalypse for the first 175ish chapters that turns into a chuuni power trip that puts a frown on your face. an amazing read for those first 175 chapters with minor annoyances, but after that it takes a lot of copium to stomach the absolute waste of potential this premise had. Writing Quality:The grammar of the story is great compared to most of the novels on here with only occasional minor mistakes. The description of events is often repetitive especially in the case of female characters. Almost every single one is sexual and painted as a "seductress with a hot body" even when they are doing something completely normal it has to be mention that they have a hot body. It kind of takes away from the point of several scenes, but this is still tolerable due to the great set up and delivery of the fights in the story.Story Development:The story development of the novel starts out fantastic. The way that things progress leave you excited with anticipation for what will happen in the next chapter. The build and execution of different arcs in the early part of the story leave you satisfied and wanting to read a few more chapters until the MC decides to put his main motivation for surviving  and getting stronger on the side burner because the author seemed to think that wanting to save your family was too boring, and the great story just needed some extra edginess to a story about a  calculative brooding blood mage in the apocalypse. Character Design: As far as I have seen in this novel there are 4 characters with any kind of character development. the MC, his succubus partner, the real female lead, and Chen He. Every other character is soon to be annihilated villan of the day, faceless minion number 14, or peerless beauty with a hot seductive body with a bit of innocence that makes her even more irresistible. The MC has actually had a decent amount of character growth, but he goes from cool, calculating, and filled with mistrust to a mix of a chuuni, a young master drunk on power, and "I repay kindness a 1000 fold, and contempt 10000 fold." like it is completely understandable how the character acts and treats others based on the background given all until he suddenly becomes like a chuuni on a power trip. the only character that has had a good character development is Chen He. I thought I was going to hate Chen He, but he is the only character that has development that doesn't ruin their character. World background: This is by far the best world and premise for a apocalypse novel I have seen. The power system is interesting, the mutated animals and higher order creatures are cool and the restrictions placed on modern weapons is nice. Overall:I would recommend this to people want a short fun read, but if you are looking for a new novel to pick up and read with the updates do not waste your coins or fast passes. The fights are fun and it's great until the MC becomes a power hungry despot that has his head so far up his a** he forgot who he was.

Worst translation I've send here som far. Word choice, spelling, syntax, everything that can be, is wrong much of the time. Machinetranslation with little editing ingenting guessing.

I didn't expect to find a book where the author actually explains what qi could be and doesn't use plotarmor in a vague way like cultivation works because of qi and qi is qi. I like how the author thinks and didn't find obvious mistakes in the math and science parts. there are a few minor points that could lead to a strong power creep between the later stages if you consider that core cultivators can already destroy mountains from a distance but it should be fine if he stops the exponential growth he currently has between the stages. sure fighting higher stages should be almost impossible but it shouldn't be 1000 vs 1 that is one stage higher and the one is winning without problems or getting hit. at least after the core stage where everyone knows techniques and has a good amount of qi.but that is just me rambling about things that are hard to balance and would be normally readjusted over time while writing  but because it is WN and we read the first version, the author has to think more about thinks like that because it is so hard to rewrite entire scenes or plot points.

Now that the first volume is done, here's my review and what I think.Writing quality- There are still some chapters I have yet to edit, but other than them I can safely say that the writing quality is good. I use both Grammarly and ProWriting as ways to edit my work, so I would hope the time I spend editing my work with them is worth it.Stability of updates- I can admit that this is the area I need most work in. I enjoy writing but it's more of a hobby. So with things like projects from school, work, etc. I find myself unable to write that frequently. However, I always find time to write at least one to two chapters a week. However, now that I'm done with projects and work, I have more time to focus on writing.Character design- I feel like this category is good. But it's still too soon to tell. Johnathan is far from perfect and still acts pretty immaturely, but he tries to keep that to a minimum since he doesn't want to die. In fights, all he does really is basic things like punches and kicks. Since he doesn't have any training. Other than that, there's not much else to say. It's still too early in the story to go in depth about his character.World Background- Same as the last one. Too soon to say anything. All we know now is that humans are turned into zombies and can evolve. That and the world is trying to save as many people as they can with 'bases'. Since the first volume was mostly the introduction to the apocalypse the world-building wasn't too focused on. I focused more on the rescue arc, and the powers they get. However, the second volume will have a lot more world-building and will show the results of the apocalypse.Other things- Only 24- 30 hours passed since the apocalypse started. The three got right into it and became strong quickly. However, they only seem strong since no other characters were introduced that had powers. The only reason why they got a good handle on mana was because of anime, manga, novels, etc. With those in mind, they progressed pretty quickly. They definitely won't get strong as fast in the future since... Cant really spoil.Anyway, I hope you give the novel a chance and enjoy it. Thanks for reading!

Most of her existing biases were confronted with those of Han Mo's transmigrated conscience and memories. Some were overwhelmed with his logic, others completely trampled and overtook the opposition, while quite a few merged and came to a "middle ground". Yet the morals of both consciouses swayed more in favor of Han Mo's less despicable mindset as the accumulation of new perspectives and the vast experiences behind them shed new light into the depths of Song Hua's remaining will.
