Id be lying to say it got better. To much tell, not enough show.
Ultimately the plot the author us writing is pretty compelling. But the MC is vain d*ckh**d with a major inferiority complex. I would love the series with a more level headed MC and a bit better accompanying writing.

This was a sweet and beautiful story. I loved it. It’s also very realistic to a normal life without crazy exes with murder intent. Keep the good work. Next book please.

Good book, I love these kinds of HEAs… just enough heart aching drama… though would love a small sequel to know what happened with Emperor Huo’s “pursuers” and Lu Xingyi

Reading the latest CHI version, I feel as if we are going backward. what kind of game is K playing? And the progress is so slow that i am losing interest.
