The story is fresh. Though it started as a presentation of a teens perspective at the start but as the story progresses, the perspectives grow deeper and deeper. The more you read, the more entrigued you become. Since it's hard to anticipate what will happen next. The story teller used technique that brings you to the mind of a character. You cannot wait when and how the lives of the characters will entertwine. Though Aiden is the main character, but the other characters are equally colorful. It's exciting when the character of the vilain will be finally revealed. Though it's too early to judge the technical ability of the author but he is very effective in presenting introspection which gives depth and color.
