Honestly, I was hoping for more from this story. I generally enjoy the cliche of a weakling getting a cheat and becoming powerful. But this story is just mediocre as of chapter 60. Maybe it gets better later on, but I haven’t looked at any reviews from other people, so I don’t know.The translation / editing quality seems to be excellent (very few or no English grammar or spelling mistakes). I can’t speak to the translation accuracy, but the story flows and is coherent. 5/5.The story itself, however, is just meh. The pacing feels rushed. The elders have the same cultivation strength as some inner disciples. Etc etc. 2.5/5.Overall, 3.5/5. It is readable and can help pass the time, but there are tons of other web novels that are more enjoyable to me, so I won’t be voting for this one.
