Saltwater Stardust - Reviews

I rather enjoy this story.  Its more of a slow burn in terms of pacing, which can understandably be a bit frustrating.  I'm actually not a super big fan of the actiony bits where Ves gets personally involved, but I understand their importance within the context of the story.  I started reading this story because I was looking for something a bit more relaxed compared to the normal fare that I read.The MC often has many conflicting goals so it often feels like he's dragging his feet a bit, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing.  I don't believe its ever been stated that Ves is a super driven person, so bouts of procrastination aren't uncommon and serve to make him seem more realistic.  I don't think said dragging of feet has ever been particularly egregious, but at the same time I binged 350+ of the chapters at once so my perspective may be a bit skewed as a result.Since I've caught up to the most recent chapters, the story's been updating at a pace of two per day, so I think the updating pace is pretty stable.I think the supporting cast is fine, but the story is definitely very focused on Ves himself.  We know the names of other characters and a bit of their backstories/motivations, but we don't go super in depth about them.  I would say this is an area that could be improved upon, but not something that really detracts from the overall quality of the story itself.  As for the World Background, we've been given glimpses into the universe as a whole outside of the small bubble the story's been primarily focused on.  As a result, we know there is a greater universe with other planets/characters/aliens out there waiting to be explored.  From my recollection, I don't believe there's been too many lore dumps.  As things become relevant, Ves (and we as readers) learn more about them, but never really to a truly overwhelming extent.  All in all, I think this is a fun story that's trying to be a bit different from the normal fare on this site.  From that context, I believe the story I've given is fair.  There's room for improvement, but nothing that detracts significantly from its overall quality.  I think if you enjoy Superstars of Tomorrow this will be something you might enjoy as well.

This Is Different From "I Can Turn To A Fish" yeah yeah  they where the same in the 1-50 chapter (i dont know the exact chapter) THIS IS DIFFERENT THE MORE YOU READ THE MORE YOU REALIZE THAT THEY WERE DIFFERENT (im on latest chapter i forgot to give this a review) im just gonna give it a 5 star thats All ?

It's great and refreshing to have a villain mc. A cunning one made it even better. It would be great if the updates were more frequent. I have no problems with the translation. Good work and thank you for letting us read this story.

I'm confused. why animals and insects? I mean the MC should be able to transform into anyone. why is it limited to animals and insects it's a huge plot hole.

Very interesting! I was immediately hooked from the very first paragraph! Nice plot too! And the writing is so awesome! Overall it's freakin good!!

It was of a deep blue and violet color. It had long, flowy sleeves that went past her hands and the bottom of the outfit reached her ankles. It wrapped around her but split right underneath her slightly busty breasts, making it flow and curl in around her and behind her. Her shoulders were exposed as the corners were cut out.

"Haha. I'm just being careful-" I had tried to make light of the situation but Mei suddenly spun me around and drew her face uncomfortably close to mine.

After he searched he could feel he was getting close to a source of energy and Fan Cheng quickened

"Hahahahahahha!" series of laughter could be heard inside an apartment complex. Lying down on her sides, Yukiko held her stomach laughing so hard that tears started to form on her eyes "Look how pathetic you look Rodolfo! How could your face be so funny .....hahaha that's both your fault .....hahaha, who told you to flirt with each other while driving hahahah!"

A group that killed the people that took Alex? That means they must be a group of innovators that sent out a team stronger than the one Nexus sent out. Maybe Alex would be safer with them, since it doesn't seem like they were planning on harming Alex since the circle was still green.

'Damn it! Which was do I go now? ' Reno thought as he paced the small plaza. Looking down at the ground in thought, he suddenly noticed that the ground appeared to be trembling. Only then did he finally notice a massive cloud of dust rising from his right. As the trembling grew and the dust cloud cleared, it was apparent that the trembling was not from an earthquake but was artificially created. First to burst out of the cloud, was a man wearing a mask with a hole where an elongated snout protruded. He was riding a black and brown steed, followed by a posse of men wielding scimitars and daggers.  Upon closer scrutinizing, Reno realized that they too were not human. Although they had a similar build to a trained adult man, they had traits similar to wolves or dogs, with long snouts, and thick hair on their forearms. Reno's heart sank as he suddenly realized what this group was. 'Bandits.' No sooner did he have the thought did he realize that not all of them were carrying scimitars and daggers. He had spotted a back row with bows which had already been armed with flaming arrows.
