truthfully your book has got me hooked. it told with a very relaxing style of narractive. Opal is a very nice character, and from what I have seen presently, a simple one (as of now). can't wait to see her growth as a character.    though I want to know if she gets a love interest. but a nice book. kudos author

This book is a phenomenal read, mesmerizing from the first page to the last. The author’s mastery of storytelling is evident in the well-rounded characters and intricate plot. Each twist and surprise kept me on edge, making it hard to stop reading. The prose is both lyrical and straightforward, painting vivid images that draw you into the author's world.

I was hooked from the first chapter. I haven't read the first book but I will, as soon as I am done with this review. Tuttle so beautifully combined two tropes that I love gender-bending and transmigration/ rebirth. This book is chefs kiss, I want to see more of Hiro.

No the most alarming part was his startling blue eyes that were more blue than the oceans the Mer people swam in, they seemed to ominously glow in the red sunshine.The very sight of him sent fearful chills down Marco's body. He felt the need to be cautious around this person.
